How do you get High✌️

The first image is the typical Indian chillum you get everywhere and the next image is a collection of chillums by an Italian chillum maker.

I used those for a while. They’re okay. Certainly better than unfiltered, but as you say, not inexpensive to use.

I mentioned those filters on one thread or another, when @ifish suggested a blown glass filter, a ROOR product, that is refillable with loose activated charcoal. I’m in the U.S. and it had to be imported, which I was happy to do, but then I fucking broke it. Took too long to get the first time and was too expensive to do that again, so I did a little searching around and found this…

This filter goes between the bowl and the down stem rather than at the top end of the bong. It has an internal screen near the bottom end to keep the charcoal from falling into the water. It’s an excellent design. The water in your bong will stay crazy clean and the taste of your weed will be at least as good as with one of the bong top filters. Nothing against them. They’re far better than no filter.

I bought mine about a year ago and haven’t killed the first bag of charcoal yet. I’ve gone through maybe half of it. Of course, I only hit my bong 5-6 times a day. If you smoke more, you’ll go through charcoal faster.

It takes me about 20 minutes, or maybe half an hour, to clean it.

The filter itself is $38.

They make a variety of pipes too, including a couple of triple filtered units. Not inexpensive, but I’ll bet they’re seriously smooth smokers.

They don’t run like regular zigzags but I’m not particular I will use whatever brand you have if I’m at your place …

Like most things, probably not worth it to everybody.
Was to me though-
For I am lazy, like weedibles, and sometimes have money to throw at gaps in my wants/needs matrix . And the way i see gear like that- (also things like tvs, games, etc etc) the more i use it, the less it costs

Honorable mention to solar hits. When I did smoke, taking a nice chunk of bud and dropping it in a jar, with lid. going out side and hitting it with a magnifying glass until the jar was full of vape/smoke. Pop the lid and inhale. So tasty. Those where Good memories.

I’ve been absolutely ripping my Flowerpot B1 ball vape the last week and LOVING it. I still cough, but I’m getting blasted enough to not pick up the bic anymore. And overall feel better too. I’ll be sticking with this for a while.

Currently smoking some peaches in the filthy bong might have to get one of the glass one out and have a clean rip

this is my rig, it is homemade, easy to fix or replace in an emergency if the need arises. it’s simple to clean, everything cleans up with blue dish washing liquid and hot water, that is all. easy as you can get! just a 1/2 quart mason jar, with a side ash catcher and a nice size bowl.

edit. 2024-11-13.

I have only broke it one time, after the clean up, just change out the broke parts and carry onward. I like things to be as simple as possible. mason jars, and down-stems are cheaper to replace than a big, thick piece of glass. and this thing really bubbles. this is the 4th or 5th iteration of this bong over the past few years, changing hole sizes, moving them around etc. I’m left handed, most of the world is right handed so I try to make it ambidextrous if possible for me and my friends.
