Yeah dude, that’s pretty shitty lookin. You ever mix your own stuff up? I’d be pissed about that… maybe the shop you got them from would do something, but probably not, and too late now some of those… you may be able to transplant into good stuff, and they’ll take off.

i’m just so glad mean gene sent me a bunch of seeds for free so the ones i paid for are already replaced, kinda!
i did that, just for one seedling, it worked and it turned green! but it’s like WAY behind, it’s ok, i’ll see what i find in the good soil i guess!

I was trying to show my neighbor the way… but he just wasn’t into growing for the wife. The last plant I gave him he dropped into FFOF. I thought he was trying to kill that plant… just to get out of the chore…
Then I took the last little bit of it. About 3 gallon. Dropped the 91 in it when it arrived. Thought I was gonna lose it for awhile. I won’t touch FFOF again…
I used Roots for years, it got pretty bad the last year or so also. That’s what led to to switch up.

Yeah, not sure if you could pull off a staggered harvest or not, but maybe that’s an option, just have all those plants delayed. Anyways, the ones in good soil are lookin good!

The problem plants are in Fox Farm Ocean Forest? I know I’ve read on more than one occasion that ‘aged forest products’ is a fancy way of saying old shredded pallets. It looks like the plants in the picture resemble nitrogen tie up in soils with a poor carbon to nitrogen balance a bit. Seems like a safe assumption if the aged forest products are in fact shredded wood or sawdust. Wouldn’t be a problem if properly composted and aged but that might be a big if.
What Bodhi strains were you considering? Hopefully the coin favors B!

I use Roots 707 mixed with Malibu’s compost when I am not making my own soil and it works just fine. Sucks about losing so many seedlings but it seems like you still have quite a bit to go through, should keep you plenty busy!

I’d say that is a good option used some roots 707 was pretty decent hell I’d rather get some promix or like sunshine 4 mix and do like 25 percent compost or ewc then ffof

Pretty jealous of your mean gene spoils he’s the one breeder I absolutely love and idolize besides Mandelbrot I can’t obtain beans from for the life of me, especially with all of his lime work as I’m a huge lime fan!
