I believe we have been using the term ‘phenotype’ wrong for decades

The maffs says That’s less than a half inch square per plant…lolz.

Edit for .0625 per plant

Ok, so before 1970 you shared the landraces with people. Are you saying that you’ve been sitting on landrace genetics for 52 years without letting them out? That would make you at least 70, better get sharing those soon (assuming you’ve done a few big repopulations over that time and they’re not all dead), otherwise what’s the point? If I take your statement at face value, it sounds like you’re going to die a hoarder. But I’m with @olschool sounds like you’re late for a date with a model in your Ferrari, so I shouldn’t keep you. Also how’s the jet you’re building in the garage going? Gonna be powered by one of those free energy machines, I assume.

(This sarcasm is in reference to claims I’ve seen made by this user to: being an Apache pilot in the Gulf War, designing a secret jet for the Army, currently building their own jet, having a free/infinite energy machine)

That’s called Monday where I’m from. :wink::joy:

These “Landraces” in question?, Did the people of the land where they were acquired get compensated in anyway?, or did they get raped of there genetics like Greenhouse seed co. walked through?

I so sorry guys…I just can’t help myself sometimes. This guy pisses me off…he comes off as a lazy duck that doesn’t want to do a damn thing requiring more energy than getting them tater chips to his mouth…I just want to point out his idiocy so I don’t have to deal with it anymore.

Free energey-- what do you know about magnetic motors and moving bodies? I’m gunna keep this simple. Take the generator head out of your geny. Attach a skate board motor to a pulley to spin the generator head. It may need help getting started. Once you generator is producing energy, plug the skateboard motor into it…presto free energy.

Don’t come back with this lazy entitled bullshit @Dirt_Wizard UNTILL you have a free energy generator.

:four_leaf_clover::four_leaf_clover::four_leaf_clover:

Cool! You’re going to have to explain the physics of it to me, because it seems like that violates the laws of thermodynamics.

When you are plugging in the skateboard motor to the generator head you have to move really fast.

In the late 80’s early 90’s did any of you guys call f1’s gen gen 2 and so on?

Only to Chapter 5 and this book has some real deal info in it. Little slow in the reading, looking up all the various technical terms but it is a must for anyone who wants to be a breeder. Funny it has answered almost all the questions I have had before and more.

Thank You!

I never heard the term until around 01 online.
Before then we just left a patch with the males for next years seeds.
Never thought of making seeds as breeding then and still don’t call it breeding now.

It’s a really good site to find books.
For the first time, I found there the whole “Marijuana Botany” with illustrations and…

This is what I think might be what you are explaining?

The F1 generation refers to the first filial generation . Filial generations are the nomenclature given to subsequent sets of offspring from controlled or observed reproduction. The initial generation is given the letter “P” for parental generation . The first set of offspring from these parents is then known as the F1 generation. The F1 generation can reproduce to create the F2 generation, and so forth. Scientists use this designation to track groups of offspring as they observe the genetics of various generations.

He did do his thesis on it, it’s called, The Botany and Ecology of Cannabis, Pods Press, 1977.
