Generally not, but blends of different cultivars can be named and at least trademarked in other industries. Basically, you have to show that what you have done to it has added x percentage of value. It’s how people in the herb and tea world often skirt things like taxes and tariffs. Take a bunch of things from Asia and the Middle East, blend then together, sprinkle a little flavoring on it, and it’s suddenly a product of where it was blended…
Don’t feel bad. I cannot do algebra, period. Geometry I understand. In fact, I was a mortarman and FDC (Fire Direction Control, basically the nerve center, turning map data into gun data) chief, which was basically applied geometry and trigonometry. On the other hand, algebra might was well be in another language…from a different PLANET.
