I believe this situation is what the feedback threads were for or at least partially . So people could build a reputation.

Hi purplenhairy, I thought I made it clear that I am calling out BigT for starting a group buy and running off with the donations.
I did not say that all the private group buys are scams. But people should exercise caution.
If you saw his original spiel, he was also asking people to send him $30 a month “to buy more lights and stuff” in addition to donations for the cost of the seeds.
That’s really suspicious. I doubt people actually went along with that, but it seemed like an obvious attempt to take advantage of the community.
I certainly hope he will show up and make good on all those big promises, but it doesn’t seem likely.

From what I’ve seen, T reached out to the OG community to seek other participants in his own thing after our Private Group Seed Runs were already going, including those he was involved with. Some of us in the group raised the red flags about it. I was one of the more vocal ones, privately and within the group. Here’s a message I sent to another member after I saw what he was trying to start outside of our private group…
Not gonna’ lie, @MemberName, I am not a fan of BigT starting his own group for seed runs, and now seems to be setting us up to have the PBB seed run fail. Am I reading this wrong?

I was trying to read through all the posts, but was he banned ? Or did he just dissapear ?
I kinda want him to be here to defend himself in case.
Ill have to start at the top again and read through one more time, but I dont want to accuse someone if they are not here to defend themselves if they were banned for some unrelated reason.
However, if he just up and left after he took our money, thats completely different.

I kinda suspected we were in trouble when BigT’s paypal account came up in Russian when he first posted it. Then those sketchy looking pictures he posted when it was time to update his grows. A “solid male” three weeks after germination with male flowers already?? Hmmm…

… oh, damn.
Going thru all the seedruns I signed up for to see if they’re are still a go… lol looks like plenty of them just disappeared or stopped for whatever reason.

Thanks man… all of these threads can get real lengthy, since I’m a slow reader and log in time to time… I’d be here reading for the next 10 years trying to figure out what happened with all the runs I signed up for… you definitely saved me some time. Thanks man
