nice stalks and good looking frame, these should do well for you my friend.
very nice …
It’s funny man. I find vegging stage just so boring but the second I flip the lights to 12/12 I can start tasting them buds.
Very nice looking!! I feel like more beans have to be dropped to conclude what was going on there with the male/potential herm.
Just as a tip, if you dont want any pollen around you can always try and cut back those pollen sacks. If they are still small and not swollen they wont drop pollen and that way you can watch them a little longer to see if they throw hairs.
I’m at a point where I enjoy it @CosmoNut . Only been indoor about 3 years. Trying to pick out more subtle traits. I see stuff now, I didn’t a year back.
I think that will be the way I go as time goes on. My nature is rush and hurry but as you say so many small but important things can be missed.
I feel there is still just that extra bit of excitement running testers. I guess it’s just that unknown and uncertainty that just makes it a big weed covered surprise.
@JAWS is this the first run of the double heather fems? Has anyone had the pleasure of smoking double Heather?
your the second person to get these but the first to actually run them, the other dude just flaked on me. told me i sent the wrong seeds but never did send me any pics of the pack of seeds so ya i think i got scammed. i warned a few ppl here that i seen him looking for free seeds. i am not a shit starter so i wont get into that any further.
your doing fine and i look forward to seeing how these do for you my friend.
peace …
@CosmoNut some stuff I’m writing down. I should log more. I had quite a run of life’s BS interfering with my growing. I still grew a bunch of weed. Some fuck ups and some home runs. I’ll get back to pencil on paper. Maybe start just logging a few plants, instead of everything.
Those little details are cool. @TopShelfTrees1 has me looking at leaves. As I recall we talked about the buds that form on big fans. I believe we were discussing a Ma Gooey x from GLG. Now I’m looking at these cool double serrations.
Run that @JAWS stuff. I love running stuff I am unfamiliar with. Keeps me from being so lazy.
Grrr, so much of this shite ! Oh well live and learn I suppose
Yezzir love looking at each unique difference, leaves, stems, rubs, bud shape, size, interactions to change etc. shit drives me! Variety is the spice of life right?
Update the updates
Double Heather number 3
This lady has sooo many bud sites coming in I can tell she’s going to be a yielder. Trimmed some lowers. I like to trim bud sites and leave the leaves (lol). I will thin the leaf out as she developed. Slight stink from the stem rub. Her body is just great though. Took a clone just now as well so let’s see if she’s easy to root and reveg.

Double Heather number 1
Still a lot of sites not quite as stacked as 3. Overall a wee bit lankier. Stem rub is skunky. Noticably more stinky in a skunk kinda way.
Lower
Not quite the looker that 3 is IMHO but shes got a stink on her stem quick
Double Heather number 4
The least amount of sites in the group and similar in structure to number 1. Stem rub was quite different to 1 and 3 definite citrus vibe. Honestly she’s the least impressive looking out of the 3 but I am down with citrus so she’s got my eye as well. So I took a clone of each one and we can see what roots and what doesnt and how it revegs

Double Heather number 5
Looking very similar to 4 and 3. A little skunky on the stem rub. Meh we will see what happens.

Very excited with how all these are starting to flower.
Also pretty impressed with the uniformity of these. Aside from the stray pollen on the 1, these plants look great. @jaws please keep making fems, i have had a taste and…
question.
i think maxigro a salt based non organic fertilizer…if so, what is the reason for using tps billions? do you see it helps? it is said by some that salt nutes kill microbes so just wondering…
not trying to knock it but it’s an interesting pair i don’t see often.
That’s a great question. Here is my “logic”.
I grow in RDWC as well and use the exact same nutes. I have also used Heisenberg tea (tps, earthworm castings, honey) heated to about 72. 24 to 72 hours after applying the tea there is a explosion of root growth, new root growth. My thoughts are that while salts are far from ideal and do kill off the beneficial bacteria, this takes time. There is obvious good being done that I can see in hydro applications. I am betting it’s the same as soil. I am also regularly reapplying the beneficial bacteria throughout the grow.
So your question lead me to do some reading (thank you) and there doesn’t seem to be a general consensus on the relationship between salts and bacteria. Some decent ideas being thrown around here. https://www.rollitup.org/t/salts-and-microbes.1069401/page-2 give it a read. Some good ideas by folks much smarter then me.
Quick update double Heather number 3 has developed some sort of
Lol but not in a bad way I don’t think.
First pic is a normal bud site
Second pic is a site but it’s growing…oddly
It’s like a caterpillar bud lol.
There’s a name for that but I can’t remember the name. Pretty cool looking.
