Yeah I know what you mean, my liver and kidneys and hurting today, I have felt bloated the last 3 days eating stuff I normally don’t.
Having a 24 hour break from food today, and back on the low carb diet starting tomorrow. Then a 6 day fast to lose the 5lbs I gained 
starting the first Monday of next year.

I used to drink on holidays but I only rarely have a bourbon or scotch these days.

Did you have a lot of company? I wish we could have traveled to see family but it wasn’t in our cards this year.
No, we went to the son’s house for dinner and visiting.

The wife and daughter-in-law are both great cooks, doing everything from scratch lol they both cooked all day Christmas then we took several containers of food from here over to add to the stuff for dinner there.

It was remarkable to see that much meat on a “male” chicken frame.
That’s how I remember the holidays from childhood. I stepped and fetched and inhaled the magic vapors from the kitchen.
