There was just a subject on the news, dealing with the supposed ‘Wild West’ of marijuana in Oklahoma. Of course, the slant was anti-cannabis.
But, what grabbed me was the giant plant operation they were showing. They had closeup shots of the plants. I said to myself, did I just see what I just saw? I rewound to that point. Lol and behold. Webs all over the tops. I got real close to the screen. I could actually see the spider mites in the webs. Hawhawhaw

Yeah it’s a commercial grow The neighbors were pissed cuz it used to be a horse farm and now it’s a marijuana farm. There’s like 50 huge greenhouses there. Right across the road from the homeowner.

Hey, I’m not friends with a lot of pot users around here so I wouldn’t have anyone to ask this question. This is kinda the second chat room anyway so here goes.
I saw on the news where people were buying pot off the streets that they find is laced with Fentanyl
Has anyone heard of that actually happening, or is that just another thing the media is feeding. Possibly encouraged by the marijuana industry trying to build business… 
I’m just wondering. I try to weed through the news to find some truth hidden in there at times.

That article was saying it could be grown for $100 a pound in OK and sold in New York for $4000+.

I work with people who are in the street drug industry; they have said it it’s cross contamination that results in weed with fentanyl. Imagine a drug dealer chops up his fentanyl first, then his coke, then the weed. Such small amounts of fentanyl can kill a non opiate user that a few grains contamination would be enough. I really don’t think there are drug dealers putting fentanyl on their weed intentionally.

pretty sure cuz, this boy was a second gen customer for my ganja. Lived 3 doors away from our old place and known him all his life. Smokes the hell outta the ganja but that’s all. Doesn’t even drink much more than an occasional beer
BUT… it could well be like Qtip said, cross contamination

I dunno about weed, but they have been doing it to heroin. Big bust here last week where they arrested 3 people, one in my town as the ringleader, for dealing cocaine laced with fentanyl in Manhattan and had 5 people die of overdoses on the same day from the laced coke…
Never had an interest in coke / heroin, if I could overdose on it I didn’t wanna bother with it. Also happen to be allergic to synthetic opiods which I found out at 13 while in the hospital thankfully, so fentanyl will kill me no matter what dosage…
ALL the more reason to grow my own…
I HAVE heard of underground weed sometimes being just piles of hemp that have been sprayed with liquid terpenes and delta 9, people making mad money ripping off others with that crap, paying a few bucks a lb for hemp selling for the price of decent cannabis after spraying…
Yup, thats the going rate in NYC but thats being slashed as shits coming in from all over now.
I always used to think that. Ya know, ya get what ya pay for and nothing more. But with shady dealers looking to hook repeat customers, I don’t put anything past anybody these days…

I was thinking that maybe the pot industry was sending that out there to get folks buying their “clean” pot instead of that dangerous stuff on the street.
There is also the fact that one article I read made it sound like folks that hate USA citizens could be lacing the stuff and sending it out in the states.
I like the cross contamination theory myself. It makes sense and I could see where folks could modify that into whatever conspiracy they wanted.
