Learned drums by ear… I have the same story… except I wasn’t picked by the assholes… I went on to be better than the ones they picked on my own… I adopted double bass technique from day 1… hi hat tricks from peart… double bass from Vinnie paul… and intricacies of jazz from Carey… along with Lars and the and justice for all album… main learning events for me

I’m not fan of Rammstein because I can’t stand synthy stuff at all. My GF saw them in August and had tickets for the front section. She said it’s the best concert she’s ever seen and from videos she’s showed me of their pyro and shit I could see why.
…and she just walked in playing them on her phone.
