lol it didn’t happen but a few times over all the years.but, it did happen and I got totally soaked in ice cold pond lol
Worse when it happens to you when it isn’t ‘work’ but busting the ice for fun as in fishing lol
I saw it happen a few times. When dad was stationed at Ft Riley we used to ride out bikes out to Moon Lake. The dare was to ride as far as you could without the bike slipping out from under you (or falling in). That stopped when a kid went in deep. I wasn’t there.
I always wanted to ice fish.
Grandpa would have skinned us though. lol
Many is the morning I’d break the ice to be able to cast, or put skiff into water to get out to the middle… breaking the ice as i go
Never did the ‘hardcore’ ice fishing though lol the hut and fire etc over a cut circle
That’s hard core fishing. It must have been sustaining fishing and not just fun fishing. At least with me it would be unless someone showed me proof the monsters were biting. lol
I’d have to be seriously hungry to sit in a hut with a small fire-barrel going lol
It depends on who your with. I’ve done it with friends out hunting. We used to camp in a ~ 8x10 that we built just for that. Sometimes there were 5 or once 6 in that little shack. I spent a lot of time out by the fire but it made for some outstanding stories to remember. lol
morning all have agreat day
Morning OG crew! Spent 5 hours in the ER with the missus yesterday. She had a round of nasty vertigo. Today should be better.
Hope she gets it sorted and is doing better. That stuff is no fun.
Morning OG!
That stuff isn’t fun cuz. Hope she’s ok now?
Here’s hoping you’re right and today is much better @crownpoodle
Morning JP!
Morning everyone!
@crownpoodle Hope she’s better by now!! All the best!! To both of you!!
Good morning boys and girls, children of all ages.
Thanks folks. The missus is the tough one. I’m the one who snivels. Usually the case i think.
Good morning JP. Good morning everyone.
Hope Mrs potseed has a speedy recovery!
Well the missus is better enough to give me crap. “I’m trying to get rid of vertigo and your outside trying to smoke your way to vertigo.”
That’s a good sign. lol
Morning OG! Checking in early with Leo the tripod on my lap and the bong next to us. I was Leo’s “guy” when his arm was removed in May. Now he follows me like a faithful dog.6
