All this talk of running a Frankie outdoors has me really wishing it was Spring, sounds like there could be some monsters in the making this year. :eyes: :green_heart:

Sure hope so.

Now, you run in living soil, if I remember correctly, whereas I run in potting soil and use bottled nutrients. I also, during flower use the fox farms Beastie Bloomz and Cha-Ching…just wondering if I should be adding anything to assist in building flowers and terpenes.

I’m the number one lurker on the site, bet :fist_left:
Holds true in real life too, just not a man of many words.

That’s true to a point. I use my own composted soil mix and also a bunch of home made nutes. But, I also use some bottle nutes… like the group from General Hydroponics, and others…

I’d love to grow a Frankie outdoors, however I don’t have the luxury of legal growing, so I fear she would grow far too large and conspicuous for the backwards prohibited laws here. Autos and freakshow type strains really are suitable for me outdoors where I am. I’m definitely going to be running some Frankie’s and frosted cobra/frankies indoor this year, apologies if I stepped on any toes with my post/pics earlier JP :seedling::green_heart:

Question. Can a male root stock be used for female graft mother plant, if all green branches are female?
I hear pure sativa stock is best for hormone issues, not triggering flowering. Is this correct?

You can use a male as the base for as many female grafts as ya want.
It’s not gonna bother the girls growing from it.

Yeahaw. I got a good one to practice on.

After you get the girl graft(s) going good you take all new stem stock and nodes of the male off. Unless you want to keep him around to take a clone occasionally to milk for dust.

Everyone is talking about Frankenstein so I decided to smoke some. Good choice.:peace_symbol:

I love the Johnny Potseed encyclopedia. Thanks yet again. I got the idea watching the root stock ooze/ drip water after being harvested. Weeks it will ooze if I keep it watered. Like a pumping heart. Then males are killed early, could be a resource. Stone that the builder refuse thing.

Rhino_buddy says pure sativa root stock is best. For less hormone fluctuation. So then i thought would a 16 week or more flower time sativa be best, equatorial. Is this correct thinking?

If @Rhino_buddy says that, I’d go with his recommendation. I haven’t done Ganja grafting but once, and am fixing to go deeper into it. Gonna try to just have 5-6 mothers with maybe half a dozen strains each . Our bud Rhino probably knows a lot more about the subject than me, since I’m just recently getting into it.

Ok thanks. If I learn anything important sounding maybe I can list some things here.
