Man I want to try some of their stuff at some point, just wish there was better reviews of the shipping to the US.
Maybe itāll get back to normal after Christmas. The election had a negative impact on the P.O.
The reviews are from even before COVID. There are posts above that recommended any of us in the states ask a Canadian user to receive the package, then have them send it to you. I guess he takes his sweet time with international orders. But I donāt know if that had changed, can remember the timeframe of those reviews.
I ordered on 4/20 to be shipped to the US, but paying directly through a Canadian bank account. The status sat as āProcessingā for 6 weeks. When I contacted JOTI, I was told it had shipped in May but they hadnāt updated the status. We gave it another week, then he re-shipped when it still hadnāt arrived. It took another month, but the second package (if there was indeed a first one) eventually made it, a total of 2.5 months from the order date.
I canāt imagine shipping being improved from this summer with the current state of things.
Having a friendly Canadian receive your order then re-send is probably the way to go both for speed, and for getting your seeds in original packaging. Had I not been informed by others here about the packaging used for US shipments I probably would have spilled them all, mixing the varieties together.
I still havenāt planted any of JOTIs beans but Iām sure the genetics are of fine quality. Obtaining them was needlessly annoying though.

Frosty but any good?
Covid is as bad as ever now, so most everything may slow down again. I still have mail out that has never been delivered. It seems to be a little back to normal here but covid is even making a stand here atm after 9 months and only 29 cases. We doubled that the first eleven days of Nov.
Now weāll have Christmas shipping to deal with, too.
Thatās the thing. Trichomes with long stalks are like carrots with huge leaves. A gorgeous looking girl can be no damn good and donāt we know it
Best strain of his that Iāve grown was his Dutch Treat.
Thatās good to hear . I just ordered a pack of Dutch Treat . Got a pack of Black Do - Iato as well .
You will be very happy with the results.
This^^^ Iāve order JOTI gear twice in the last few months. Had a Canadian OGer place the order for me, and forwarded the seeds to me. Itās worked out great!
In fact, I have a package enroute that cleared customs a couple of days ago.
Good point. And good is relative too. At least from the point of what works for you or me could be different.
I wouldnāt say anything so far has super high THC (and not from testing just what effect I get) but nice flavours and smoke that appeals to my pallet.
I am doing some crosses with some of his gear in hopes of taking some of those characteristics and things like bud structure abs crossing with other strains that have more punch to see what comes out.
always a good question
I have had sativa with no frost that were cosmic
and indica that looked liked the north pole that smoked like rope, with the same stone
Lots of dudding go on these days, gotta watch it
Iāve heard that term before, dudding, exposure to something causes it to just be bunk or something?
Exactly, people breeding plants that arenāt healthy
Ive been sampling the afghani x Blue Lights from @Tappy for a few days now. Good strain, frosty, smells like strong fake blueberries and decent indica stone. Id run it again and try to find a pheno where the calyxes swell up more before finish. Just the only real critique I have for the 1 pheno i grew- it turned out more āhairyā w small calyxes vs when the calyxes swell out more and look balanced in relation to the pistils. Couldve also been my fault in growing, not sure. Just a personal aesthetic preference of mineā¦
Same from @Tappy
Current run.
