Everything I’ve looked at so far has been peer reviewed by a bunch of Doctors and PhDs as well, if that lends the information any further credibility.

Forgot to mention the wealth of information on OG as well. Seems like lots of growers here utilize or incorporate some aspects of KNF into their methodology, whether it be LABS for mildew control, water soluable calcium, or fermented plant juices for feeding.

Making OHN (Oriental Herb Nutrient) Garlic-Ginger KNF

Hello everyone, here’s how i made some OHN. With all the ingredients ready [image] Weight the garlic [image] Weight the ginger [image] In separate containers, mix the ginger and the garlic, with crude sugar and beer (chose dark beer) [image] Store with tight lid on and stir everyday in the morning. You can mix the two after they ferment when they become stable. Ferment each on its own. [image] Will ready in about 6 days.

Lots of good knowledge in natural farming, I agree with the Chris Trump videos. The JADAM book is a good read too.

My FAA is still fermenting, believe it or not it never smelt one bit even with your nose 2cm from the open valve. Going to be liquid gold once it’s finished.

FAA (fish amino acid)

I put on some FAA today, which is basically a 1:1 sugar to fish ferment that is really rich in nitrogen and amino acids. Chris Trump does his in a bucket but I figured having it on tap and not having to strain it would be a better design so I rigged up a strainer inside the base of a drink cooler above the tap, that way I’m able to start extracting at 3 months without having to open it. You can use just the scraps of fish, it’s really cheap where I live so I got a $7 mix bag of pargo(red snapper…

Bokashi is another super beneficial fermentation and easy to prepare

Lactic acid bacteria serum! Aka LABS

I make bokashi using this technique First make some ‘EM’ by adding 500ml of LAB, 500ml of black strap molasses and 19 litres of water to a 20litre bucket seal with a lid and let sit for 1 month in a cool dark spot. Bokashi recipe (1 pound of wheat bran) 5ml EM 5ml LAB 1 pound of bran Water (just enough to moisten not wet) I mix all ingredients then put it in a garbage bag and seal then put back in the bucket with the lid on back in the cool dark spot again for another 2 to 3 weeks. the JADAM book is a great read I agree I’m really new to all this stuff but I started this summer making my first LABS collectinjg IBM and trying fruit and plant ferments I also started bokashi composting it’s been a ton of fun lots of folks have help me through the journey and I still have a ton of stuff to learn but its gonna be a blast have a great day folks

I’ve done lots of different KNF recipes. The JADAM book is great. The old Unconventional Farmer website was awesome, chock full of ideas and recipes, wish it was still around. Typically I basically just use FFJ as a pH down now.
