That’s a shame. I’m trying to get that 1-1 ratio in something. Right now I’m blending a CBD Ratio 30 - 1 with whatever I’m smoking at the time.
I got that through homegrowncannabis .com. It was the best looking plant I think I’ve ever grown out. I’ve only got one quart jar of that left.
I’m hoping that the Canna Cheese I have going is the ticket. It’s supposed to be close to balanced.

So I ordered a 12 site flora flex system from indoor growing Canada back in may. They still haven’t shipped the system or refunded my money.
So I said f*** indoor growing Canada and f*** flora flex. I’m building my own!
I have the delivery system done, I just need to set up a reservoir and plumb it. I have the dtw side of things started.
Just picking away at it while I’m waiting for the cooler weather

The cement shoes I have outside got to about 7 feet, it’s just starting to flower now. It might have been a bad idea to run this strain here… outside. Maybe our east coast weather will hold out long enough for me to finish.

The cement shoes got pretty big but she seams like it might have been a bad choice for my area. The buds are sill in very early stages. I should have went with a shorter flowering girl

Did you do this from a clone then outside? Looks like a tropical type. Something that might work for me at 34 north latitude

No this one wasn’t a clone. It was from seed. Cult classic seeds cement shoes s1. She smells wonderful and looks great so hopefully my weather holds off. I know it’s been cooling off fast lately

I hope it works out for you. When did you say it started to flower? When did you plant the seed? Just grabbing some data points for a little experiment I am looking at. I have a Thai that is outside and it hasn’t flowered yet so…
Have a zombie that is next to it and will be done at the end of the month. I am lucky to have room outside real smelly😄. I can’t help but think the lower latitudes start the flowering sooner because of shorter daylight but obviously the growing season longer.

I think I started the seed around the end of April. The buds only started forming about 3 weeks ago.
According to the info I read, it said mid October but I feel like it still has a long ways to go.

That is such a wonderful looking plant and you can see it has so much potential! I looked for it and seems like everyone is out of the S1 and others carrying it I don’t know if they are reputable? I would definitely like to give that a try!
I remember you entered your hybrid for competition and was wondering if you posted any info on it? Sorry to just be catching up on what you been doing; so stupid busy finishing the house. I hope you win or at place very high!
Do you have excel? I made a dumb little program that makes the photo-period process somewhat predictable based on location. I am using start of flowering to predict finish time. Still gathering data but it won’t help with this but might have other uses or just something to ponder?

I am thinking November unless it is a fast finisher? Planted end of April beginning of May 1=14 hr 13’ and Aug 12 = 14hr 13’ so roughly 100+ days so 79 more days runs you possibly into some time in November? Mind you just my best guess and just experimenting with day lengths. Very Hazy acting plant; probably start getting to cold by 3rd week of October??? Hopefully an Indian summer!

Yup I entered the jacks lemon cake. It didn’t do very good I guess lol I wasn’t even on the list of competitors when they posted the scores.
I had a 20 pack of the cement shoes. I think I have enough left to send you a few to try if you want to see if it does well in your area

With the excel program I am making assumptions using the flowering time and such. I could be completely full shit but you might find it fun and hopefully helpful. If you have any insights after looking at it that could improve it please feel free with any ideas

That sucks about the competition; probably better than 99.9% of the stuff that is out there. Sounds like it would be a real good to smoke!

Will you still be entering JLC again just tweaking it 2.0? Is this competition for anyone or just for Canadians?
I think your lab work really gives great detail and knowledge to where you could steer it. Real issue is knowing what combinations will make it happen. Makes my head hurt thinking about all the details and time and still no guarantees.

I keep a check on the electric month to month from the previous years the last 2 years we didn’t have to put the heating on until mid October, we have had it on for the last 2 weeks because of the chilly nights and odd day it stays cold. There is always hope it might warm up a bit again though lol who knows.
