I should clarify it dried for 2 weeks it’s been 2 curing now so a month or close to .

Nice! I wish I could hang mine for 2 weeks. Humidity is so low here… winter so only 16%
Finally wised up and hanging in an old cabinet with humidifiers going. Small fan and averaging around 50% rh. I’ll be lucky if I get 10 days hang dry heh

It is a frosty thing. I haven’t had any Black Garlic. I have tasted some that smelled of garlic and onions. It was pretty good. That is a JOTI strain?

50% is good if there solid hard buds you could leave a bit more stem than usual also helps if your on the dry side to slow things down .
This last harvest I wet trimmed and rack dried turned out good .

Yup that’s correct. Gives a nice solid pain relief stone so I enjoy it. Interesting taste too; hard to pinpoint but hints of garlic/spice/skunk
Yeah I try to leave it as one bush to hang it. Then dry trim to save some of that moisture… I even give a heavy watering the day before harvest heh; seems to help slow down the dry.

That more stem trick is when trimming to start the cure if there a bit on the dry side . I as well hang whole plants usually

Oh okay, I understand. Yeah that’s a good little trick; keeps a little more moisture in the jar.
I trimmed a couple lower nugs a week ago and did a test dry: been puffin the erb today because it’s so delicious haha

Typically 2-3 months is best, but smokeable after a solid month. These jars are hard to keep closed though too tasty!
These are only a month into cure.

Haha yeah no kidding!
I Try to slow dry lol. Very low humidity; but with a humidifier I can get 60% for 6-7 days hang dry. Started getting better

Okay so very late update; E85 and blue city diesel rocking it in the flower cabinet. Approximately week 5
Veg cab is E85 clones and 2 female gods gorilla glue from JOTI
Blue city diesel roughly 3 weeks flower
