Learning about growing in Missouri

Hey everyone. i am completely new to growing and would love to hear insights about growing in my region and about strains that i may like. I am interested in all things such as lighting, grow mediums, seeds and how to get new ones, watering and nutrition and anything else anyone would like to share.

Hey there justin.
I would be happy to help you out with your questions.
But i wouldnt worry too much about strains. I would be more concerned with soil, feeding and lighting and ventilation.

A environment where any strain can thrive. Right?

I always tell new growers to check out grow weed easy… basically encyclopedia of basics with photos and references. Pick up a simple book from Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal too. People on forums like these can answer specific questions but difficult if don’t really have a baseline

Like a bag of promix soil, 1 bottle of 1% H2o2, some distilled water, some LED shop lights you would find at walmart and a rotating fan at the very least.

You should check out the grow tents everyones using too.

And pots or bags to put the soil into.

Inside growing it sounds like? Do you have a preference of what to grow in (soil, coco, rockwool, and so on)? How much are you trying to grow? Getting seeds is the easiest part, so don’t worry about that.

Yes indeed those are primary factors. When I do grow though, I want to grow what is going to suit my desired effects.
