You bring up the concept of habituation. You are familiar to the animals and they are comfortable in your presence.
I have mixed feelings about ppl habituating Bigfoot via gifting. I worry that they’ll become to comfortable with humans, which could lead to trouble. I also worry about them catching our diseases.
Keep in mind that I don’t judge those who gift Bigfoot. Given the opportunity I might do it myself. I still worry though.
