Let's discuss Bigfoot

It was a great period for novelty songs, a genre I have always loved. In fact, this is the first song I went crazy for. My folks say I would hang on the record player (78s only) and “dance,” and when the record would end, I’d start to scream until it started again. I couldn’t walk yet. To this day I so dearly love this song!

Sorry to get off track…

Oh yeah! A still from the Patterson Gimblim film. She’s got breasts if you look closely enough.

The stabilized film is linked below.

No apology required! This thread is open to any topic and all are welcome!

You’re so right about that era of music. To me it just sounded smoother. That’s highly subjective, but it calms me

I have watched the stabilized footage of Patti a thousand times.
It just never looks like someone in a suit to me.

@Bert , take a moment and study the still I posted, surely you didn’t miss it.

Look up hypertrichosis, I think this could explain Patti…. Maybe someone learned to embrace their disorder AND simultaneously thought it would be a good idea to live in the woods!

I dunno how I’d survive in the woods though, i’m sure starvation and malnutrition would settle in before I do.

You just have to eat gross little things and you’ll be fine.

Some ppl think Bigfoot may be feral ppl who have reverted to being very hairy to adapt to their environment.

It’s not that big of a leap. We already have hair follicles covering most of our bodies.

I would argue that whatever they are, they aren’t “us”. They would be apex predators and masters of their environment. They apparently have much better night vision than modern humans.

Their strength is probably multiples of ours. A chimpanzee is 2 to 3 times stronger than a human.

There a few other noticeable differences. They are adept crawlers and tree climbers. They can climb steep slopes no normal human would attempt.

Their arm proportions differ from humans. Their forearms are proportionally longer thsn ours. Ppl report their hands reaching to their knees.

They also run differently. Ppl report they are very smooth runners and their heads don’t bob up and down like humans.

Also, they have small ears. Not sure what’s up with that.

They are very identifiable when trying to catch a bus

Harry and the Hendersons

Maybe they can dig burrows as well.

Mole people are real and whole cities have been built underground like Cappadocia

They may well be diggers. I hadn’t considered it. Ppl say they hide in caves and even hide the tunnel openings with rocks and sticks.
