Let's talk about clones floating in Europe!

hey i think i got a good reply for ya. i popped these berry nice plants 2.0 and im vegging them right now for cuts. they are amazing plants so far. i think its santa maria x chocolate rain . idk if you know much about the chocolate rain but its a fun strain. so this is a santa maria variation or whatever, a cross, but maybe you might be interested in hearing about it. made by @santero and im excited to be able to try them so far.idk anything about santa maria but its sounding like something im going to be stoked with and probably never forget.

i think its cool to see other languages ." whats good " to all the german folks from a ( west coast x island boy ) . wish i was in EU to blaze 1 sometime

i think the west coast genetics are great but they are made for yield and flavor. the effects when they are stony make you feel it too , but for real stoners that know about good sativas, maybe it gets boring after a while. i always liked a lot of stuff bc the way it tastes but i dont want to go to sleep from it. i want to stay awake and blaze more.

so those hybrids are made for great yielding and great flavor but some of them lack the effects that i like. i think theres much better stuff elsewhere but its also popular because its certain flavors and unique flavors , purples, candy gas, minty cookies, etc. its pretty different and cool but even though i like it , and im familiar with it all, id rather be blazing cool sativas and older stuff i remember. i always liked GDP, Erkle, and oldschool purps that had true grape flavor. the Bubbas and OGs and Sours . I always liked the effects from a lot of classic originals. but the newer stuff seems to be too potent in the wrong ways for me, like you said, really sleepy and stoney. some of its uplifting and fun, Dosidos, is probably my favorite stuff ive tried in a long time for newer modern genetics. Face off OG x Cookies or something . Has a nice OG stone and tastes great and then crashes into sleepy lol

to specifically answer your question about why are they growing this stuff instead of better stuff , its because of the flowering time and yields. lots of power bills lots of rent and money going into things, and they want heavy bulky plants that are fire , and cutting down quicker than 10 weeks. ppl stopped doing anything longer than 10 weeks a long time ago west coast it seems. theres also lots of late rains in Sept , Oct months (month 9, month 10 flower)

i really dont know anyone that runs anything sativa or really even wanted to anymore, which is sad, bc thats the best stuff ever i think. maybe theres certain flavors and stuff in indicas that are great, but sativas are more fun and enjoyable i think especially 4 me. I think people are also starting to realize these same things and making/finding stuff thats a little bit better in ways also

Sorry if thats too much random info about west coast stuff but thats why i like older genetics a lot more too. Shit just aint the same anymore.

I was kinda disappointed when i first tried cookie crosses and cali weed in general. The effects are there, but most of the time it’s like the smoke is missing something special. Still some US strains have good effects to me like Mimosa, Gelato, Runtz, Z or Clementine.

I got some us clones from europe which i will try in next run:
RS11 doja, Permanent Marker doja and Super Buff Cherry #26. Also one oldscool strain i am holding as clone only is Strawberry Banana.

My last grow was the Super lemon haze franco cut and i can fully recommend her to any sativa lovers here.

yeah i dont know why we arent still smoking grapes, kushes, and OGs , thats all i want still . the new wave of stuff just doesnt hit the same 4 me.

that super lemon haze looks great! im highly interested in trying more foreign genetics because the genetic genepool in the US has been bottlenecked and literally everything is blue dream , cookies, gelato etc . some of it does smoke great. keep an eye out for Dosidos, that was pretty much my favorite. wedding cake is good too, i like gorilla glue terps better, but the wedding cake is powerful. reminds me of the strain “The white” which was good. Still, im a fan of other stuff tho.

Oldschool grapes, bubba kush, OG, and real Kushes will always be my most favorite. and some sour was always around too. always like the more memorable cali strains more than this modern hype stuff.

theres some good cuts and great phenos out there and they are all worth trying, but if i had to choose stuff 4 the rest of my life ,itd definitely be the older cali stuff vs the newer 1s. another one that is worht a mention, the key lime pie, and sherbert are great plants. the key lime pie i think is a lot better but everyone likes that purple sherbert the most.

always excited to see and hear more stuff from out there, there was some things i have tried before that I know didnt originate in the states probably. stuff like the Dutch Treat, Super Jack, idk Sensi Star… Maui Wowie . theres a lot that could still be out there but in the states its gone or too hard to find now. every1s got the new stuff.

Pure Kush is amazing too, i still cant figure out which cut is which, but its kinda rare, and like an OG plant , really good. i think its more of an oldschool plant but its still around

im seeing ppl up in Canada with good Granddady Purple, and theres no GDP in the states anymore either. its getting crazy but i think its out there.

I just wanted to give a “litle” update of what has been going on at my place.
Many cuts have been sourced, bought, traded, imported, … some got stuck, many needed to be be nursed back to health, alot of tests that have been done, …
If anybody is up for trades and has clean and tested genetics we are missing (and should give a try), just pm me :+1:
Here is the list of the genetics we have got right now.
A “few” more a yet to come
Right now we are also looking for a lab to collaborate/partner with and have all those genetics cleaned and preserved through meristem tc.
That is way easier said than done :exploding_head:
So again, any infos are appreciated. Just pm me :+1:

Good to see your huge list my man

In the Netherlands, there is only 1 legal commercial tissue culture lab that has a license for cannabis. But still, then this company cannot legally transport around the cuts so anyway, it is an issue still. I think Germany case might be better but as far as I can imagine there won’t be a licensed nursery that has a tissue culture lab.

I know some peop who can do this underground but…not sure if the standard meets to your requirement

anyway have a great sunday bro!

Looks like you have all the cuts in the world
How you manage all that?

What an extensive and beautiful list of clones!

I have been intrigued and looking for a hp13 lately so very happy to see it’s on your list. Some super silver haze with catpiss bring back good memories. OGKBV2.1 is also highly on my list but your list is just looking like a dream  nothing on your list that I wouldn’t want to grow.

Am I understanding you correctly, you are aiming for some sort of preservation project or is the end goal “just” to sell those cuts ? If you are purely looking for preservation maybe ask somebody @ the few German universities which already do meristem culture for cannabis for scientific purposes, if your project is not for-profit they might be interested in helping you

super impressive list btw, I just had to make an account here because of that

Very cool, congratulations and much respect.

you have a lot of good things to smoke

It’s my dream

I see you know hlvd, tissue culture. Very good.

In internet you have tissue culture packs, to can make it yourself at home.

Maybe the best is to buy direct the products, via internet, because you need big quantities and those kits are little expensive

And you can do yourself hlvd tests at home :house:

Tumi sell those kits. But I think you can find the products yourself too, to save money.

I’m far to know all about this, but I love to speak about it. If you have questions don’t hesitate
