Yes i was going to say that as well. 110v 30 amp needs 10-2 at 60 feet, more than 60ft needs 8-2. And remember, 80-85% capacity so 30 amp properly loaded with item’s like ac, dehumidifier, etc are 26 amp to take into account starting surges
I’ve got one of these but it’s one of the earlier motorized ones, it’s not foot activated.

This one sat in a flooded basement so the base is completely rotten. I’ve kept it around because I had thoughts about rebuilding the base but I think it’s above my skill level, it’s also missing the foot pedal.
I saw this but it’s over a month old. Did firing the 1000 in the 600 watt ballast work? My guess is it didn’t fully light up. I know going the other way around will likely blow the lamp but wasn’t sure in your situation. So what happened?
