Dense week. I’m just on fire, impatient and frightened at a time to reach this pivot point.
Supercharged by serious projects and already working on the hardest one, I’m feeling at my place again lol
I’m still unable to describe the kind of alien fruits are present in this cocktail … but after some pounds of daily use, i think she have her chance to fight against the some SPG bastardization like runtz and other skittles. The result of a sub optimal outdoor, mid-sept harvest (the line is fast) is quite incredible. Can’t wait to crack a 10pack to taste the indoor weed.
The high is a 100% mood enhancer with enough torque to saturate if necessary. I regret to don’t have a water pipe to smoke it.
This D#1 is just one of my best humiliations in breeding i had since a while. Dices was cheated but Jah’s represent, he just done what i overthinked.
Here we go, gen3 motherplants. I can consider now the SD in cruising speed genetically and to maintain at such vitality. More easy to say than to do.
The study on somatic drifts don’t touch its end, but a first critical checkpoint buddy @funkyfunk Soon the conclusion in weed.
As the macro is showing, i don’t fucked up the cycle one more time and the gen4 is insured. I will just go as far than i can.
Left : SD “somalow” gen2
- Transplanted in 100% hot soil, horse manure/sand.
- Pruning : two main secondary preserved, lateral branching pruned.
- No special nutes regime scheduled.
- Pinched regularly to balance the two stems.
Right : SD “fuel” gen2
- Transplanted in mixed soil, light. More aerated.
- Pruning : two main secondary preserved, lateral branching pruned. A lot more ^^
- Training : reducing by one internode the height, to be almost at the same with the “somalow” cut. Same point of pruning for the two main stems.
- Modding : different sections of stems enlarged at the level of the primary fiber, stopped at the limit of the phloem. Exactly … i tortured the pericyclic fibers. It’s why it’s looking the same than the cellulose of the seed’s shells.
Wounds are set, artificial nodes are continuing to grow … no more torture until the harvest.
- Pinched regularly to balance the two stems.
- No special nutes regime scheduled.
The goal here is not to find a magic trick to maximize yield, but to map the yield itself as a complete trait. So i need to find the maximum of grip in the linked traits.
I’m waiting after the gen3 to torture the hell the somalow, testing its resistance and DNA options. Hardcore mode. Middle age.
I will try to push the SD on yield dept. The flo time is half burned now, stretch is staling … it’s now that i don’t have to don’t screw up with the nutes ^^ But is frightening all true SD holders is the 70-80 window. Loudness and floral shape is all made there, just before the harvest.

I’m starting to transplant this night.
The SOG batch. They are all clones i was supposed to throw, saved from hell like the whole batch. The darkest was directly transplanted in an hot soil just to see what happens. She don’t burnt, off course.
They are there to get pollen along the selection. My duty is to replace them on regular basis by other sog clones, in loop^, with one to two weeks of delay. I bet hard on my hydro-cloner and on the LED reform.
That’s for my little LED-gate. The recovery of burns and the total change of green, is always operated in less than 48hrs under the triple-CFL. And same now under the CFL150 that replace the led panels. The second photo is from a 1x1 150w unit.

A shot in plain mapping/notations. This session of notation took me 6 hours straight, big checkpoint but still a reality. Sometimes, you have long shifts ^^
You’re totally looking what aren’t expecting the stoners in getting a S1 ^^ They are F2s, but you can quickly see the hell of segregation it is. After 6 hours on it, i can allready say that nothing is homozygous in the SD untagged lol Real a cut that stand with tape and glue on its pieces.
It’s mapping so i kill less, but i think that this night i will be around the 50 specimens from 135 seeds germinated. One third, nah it’s quite aggressive it’s cool. The things i’m learning in these S1 are insane ^^ Can’t even share the first obs, riot insured.
The JH7-Dam is on cruising speed, supercharged ^^ I will wait a bunch before starting the PK. I want an explosive double-flo this time lol, she have enough veg to handle it. I don’t fucking know how i will do to finish her but fuck it. The Jack is not for pussies ^^
No seeds planned, just stash. It’s a spare JH7 clone, unselected for motherplant.
Fuck i losted the A4 paper with the date lol Just to scroll up, 4days on the photo. No change today.
The clones were taken when the mothers were under the led panel full throttle, the one without the diffuser-screen. The clone recovered from their burns in the hydrocloner, but it’s not very nervous for now. I guess it will turn like the last batch of SD. Just wtf. But no time to waste at searching now … welcome productive comfort zone.
I’ve a bunch of blank rounds to do for the stash with the clones, I can’t launch yet big batchs of F1s to start their BX. I will not complain, her sharpness is missing a lot. The annihilation when abused too Oh my … a long ride again. My high score is F11, let’s see if i go further this time.

These double-afghani/skunk are flowering longer than a zamal indoor. Traces of reveg under 12/12, let’s see if they pass the mark of 6 months. Seeded both lol

Notations already start with the F1s, almost finished on the S1s.
For now i’m following the tempo, very good results on the S1 subgroups even if i’m a bit in late. I was supposed to kill more, the pool of interest is reduced to a dozen of specimen. And really 6 only pre-mapping the BX1 round aside.
It’s quite intense to note and care like this in parallel, but it was missing the fuck i must admit. A good old brutal selection, with hell unleashed ^^
I forgot a bit the big SD ladies, the hot soil help well and they surprisingly love it. But they need their fix of PK a good week.

The first round fully dialed and synched, I’m reviving a bit. I’ve even took more safeties than necessary to don’t revive the JH/NL5H/ERSB/SS2 round if any kind of shit happens ^^ Mad Max mode.
I’m writing the update and i apply the nematode’s raid of Autumn. Jah bless SF nematodes.
Agressive wave, and JH is a gnat magnet you can’t believe how. All phenos. Only the transplanted plants and the veg will be treated, so at 10M it’s quite dosed.
There is a cons, specially when temps are lowering and it’s the high RH required to keep the cattle of nematodes alive a long time. They are killed by GHE high doses and Top Shooter, but not by the aptus nutes high doses. It’s giving me room to screen the seedlings, let’s try an ecosystem approach for one time. I’m already half an hipster to use these worms instead BT and hard chems, anyway.
This week a bunch of S1s will be culled. Only the ones usefull for the BX process, less than a dozen. It will give enough room to launch the next batch, a fast selection on the California Indica F2 for my padawan and the F3 in IBL form. So not really a repro, two narrowed lines to output. I need two specific and different pairings, but it’s not a ride. I can inbred this shit in sleeping, old breeding friend like the SS2.
Side projects are taking shape, i don’t sleep much these last times. Quite hermit style too and eating is sometimes a waste of time … this kind. All positive, so i don’t cry.

This cycle was tight, but i revived the fucked clones and the holly gen3 is there, stinking the hell like never to show me she’s happy, younger and still turning heads.
The future somalow gen4 motherplant is secured one more time. I pinch the hell the motherplant constantly to develop the sacred unique stem. So i can use to continue the experiment to the comparison of progeny ^^
The leaf tell a lot more than it’s looking. This leaf was led-burned on the fuel-motherplant and she’s recovered fully under 150w neons now. Watch the edge of the leaves, and specifically the interveinals surrounding. You have too zoom and focus your brain to compare bottom of leaf with top edge, on the leaf’s macro.
@funkyfunk , hard to comment the gen3 more than you already know. The curve is sturdy for both, with different results. They equally stink a lot more then the gen0, i start to suspect a minimalist drift on the weed already for the somalow. The gen2 flowering will tell a bit …

It’s complicated for me to share really what’s going on practically, during all the veg the story is written each day in bonus. What is urgent to map today is not what was urgent to map yesterday … in bonus. The part that i don’t want to share for obvious reasons is really minimalist. I should try if i can pass the context in video, just in recording one of my screening with comments. Just impossible here, in writing and even with a ton of macros.
On the front of the S1s, the game is over and it’s fully mapped. I was expecting a quick reading in three weeks, no feinted surprise. What i learnt is available to any SD cut holder, SD always give ~50 seeds per oz of stash.
Now … it’s dog shit at commercial grade lol She’s very not a good mother for S1s, it’s implying an experimental pack of 25 or it’s just a joke, sincerely. Speaking from a 135 batch, only 10 are valuables (to make F1s included). Still the super RR Sour Diesel ^^, it’s tight. And only advanced users able to figure out what they have in hands : an ultra depressed progeny that segregate the hell.
On the F1s, this good old SS2 still work like ever for outcrosses … it’s directly a breeze at F1. With the mapping of the S1 just aside, i just have to enjoy the vibes. Mostly.
I will mostly work on these ones to find my BX1 male. Not the three, the type. And no I don’t explain why deal with it lol

I’m turned yield for her too, it’s the “yield round” overall. No fancy torture and all, just pinching sometimes to balance the shape but soft. I don’t refrain the apical bud, she will finish the head inside the parabolic reflector anyway.
She already stink the lemoney cleaner, overall much more vigorous and productive than its sister. It’s quite an inversion of historical valors with these F1 phenos. Last round i really pushed to the death and the potency was then quite extrapolated. This time, even oriented yield, i will harvest exactly at potency spike. With a JH it’s as difficult than dialing perfectly a SD that stay loud to 80 days, day of cut.

I keep the tank transparent to watch callus formations and none auxin was applied. It’s leveraging the stats.
Technically the proto is validated, the clones are well stored for ten days and it’s overall clean both side. But zero callus it sux and Jh is not really hard to clone. It still the light-burned canopy … no way i wait a month like the last batch lol
I don’t know … i felt them lazzy so i just removed the dome. I will observe them a fews days before throwing them for fresh cuts.
One time you start to prune it, the JH enter in maniac mode. It’s time to flower for them … maybe i will not wait much before making a fresh batch of clones. This canopy never knew the LEDs burns.

This line is my secret cheat to smoke a weed as expansive than a good Kush, but without a hint of Kush inside lol Strong weed will come only at F5 with this one, but the smoke is directly there. With the NL5H, one of the rares that don’t have been fucked up by sensi.

In searching the calindi F2, i had my moment of profoundness lol. Only two repros to do for a lab rebooted last year, i should be less stressed by the planning and more happy of my tempo. I can’t, but sometimes it’s good for the moral to stay rational, little victories and all this shit you know …
I rely a bit too much on OG for my cloning stats lol Not even a post it somewhere or a calendar or even a white board … i sux.
13 days exactly, not different that the coco pellets stats but with the context it’s quite speed.
With clones boosted with clonex and complete dark, i think one week isn’t a fancy bet.
Due to the light, only the section got roots. I’m curious to see the normal mode.
That’s what scientific papers do to you sometimes, too ^^ On the papers, enclosing fully the clones was optimal but it just cooked the apex of some clones with hot vapor.
It was a bit more than this, the goal was to never open the dome until the roots are coming. Not really efficient, it make the clones lazzy. Hydro clones are longer to restart after transplant, if you have the same stats that a passive cloning … it lost all interest.
Let’s put the calindi in the sprouter now …

Well the germination of the week i guess, 100+ California Indica F2 to send narrowed F3 to my padawan. The necessary females are shitty mothers a few generations with my pairing, reducing almost the viability to a zamal mother lmao It’s the price.
Not unhappy to switch in hydro. I’m even thinking about an hybrid version using oasis.
Even in these patterns you can do some breeding with this plant.
It wasn’t enough populated to transplant but i’m curious i can cut a couple of days in the timing ^^ Then after transplanting 4 clones i realized that i was out of root booster lol
I will give them a shot of start booster, not optimal but it work. Tempted to come back to superthrive too but roots excellurator is missing as fuck, even for the pre-cut of clones on mothers.
That’s the bad side of hydro clones, they take more time to restart than oasis. The soda bottle tech is just a ghetto stuff that stil rox lol They are now under the damned canopy of JH motherplants, since i mounted the CFLs they are just in fire. I will be forced to prune them the time to be sure that the two main gen1 clones are safe. It sux. So i think i will do again a wineyard stuff with dual stems.
The harvest of the night and i will try to sleep a couple hours ^^ Lazy to count, maybe 20-25, F1s and S1s. The S1s were fascinating to map and very interresting. With the F1s i feel like the last piece a shit to note them and i love it. I’m glad to have choose the SS2 for this, it’s just an hell. I will make two BX1 at first, one from a F1 male and one from a F2 male. These BX are only 50% of the project to stabilize the SD. Another line will come and i’m good for the same shit, but more turned weed than backbone.

Intense week in all fronts. Not complaining but tired a bit lol My average sleeping was around 3-4 hours a day, I used some truffle’s teas i admit ^^
I’m globally happy about the lab, but the last seeds launched. This pairing always make bad batches but this one is quite arid … it’s smelling the dead seeds already. Fuck it. I will launch another vial, it’s going to be a large embryo’s extraction.
The gen2 mums have reached half of the show, and i m quite satisfied fort now in the yield dpt. The sum of what they are eating is quite impressive, considering that they are transplanted in hot soil in bonus of the thick soup ^^ I mean, i don’t know much strain that will not be totally dry-fried by nutes at this point ^^
I pushed but in aiming grade, razor edge.

The gang of S1s kept for reading on the go to declare, one female to transplant already. It’s starting to talk. 4 are very facultative C91 phenos, just to triple-check the role of the NL in this chaos.

The said clone’s line, mostly sogged clones that will look like shit ^^ They roles is to catch interresting pollen popping out from the selections. I’ve to make a new batch of SD clones in the hydro cloner i was supposed to finish this week end lol Catalunian-styled clones.
As you can see @funkyfunk , the clone got some resistance and SAR responsiveness.
I’m forced now to pinch at intense rate and stronger, to manage the new somalow renewal.
The golden teaching of this crazy experiment have reformed a tons of linked traits in my brain about vigor and DNA resistance. Opening a field of new considerations.
All in all, i expected a loss of vigor or a gain in the opposite side of the theory. Not a very visible status quo, with greatly improved SAR.
The weed of this specimen exactly, will make conclusions that can’t be dodged. I’m burning to share the results with you.

The F2 repro and the first BX1 are in game, i walk slowly on eggs whatever the number of times i have to screen the whole for only one specimen lol I don’t expected it easy, but i expected more comfort zones from the twos. They have some fun obviously.

She variegated the shit, impossible to screen out without pushing this far the flo. I will play with the seeds with extreme tests, but they are reformed. The other female will carry the line.

I’ve to make an inventory this week, i’m sure that i forgot some christmas-SD-stash in the listing.
Quite packed, pollen receivers everywhere ready to be seeded for almost a quarter. I’m fine now. One veg tent down, ready to isolate males inside.

Aucune expression ne sort du champ canonique du cut. Nada. Niveau odeur en plus c’est le cut parfait, c’est comme ça qu’elle communique. Nada again.
Cela circonscrit vachement les leviers en jeu, et je pense que la méthode obsessionnelle (égale à celle de la “fuel”) a porté ses fruits en terme d’exponentialité.
Pour moi c’est plié, j’ai maintenant la preuve factuelle sous les yeux, tous les jours, qu’un déviant somaclonal peut être généré par pression épigénétique.
Tu sais que j’attends le smoke side-by-side de la gen3 pour conclure, mais c’est à peu près tout ce qui reste à explorer pour moi si ce n’est … les seeds que j’ai déjà sous les yeux lol Les S1s sont faites avec le “fuel”. Les F1s sont faites avec le “somalow”.
Je pense honnétement qu’on va être déçus tous les deux sur la weed, et que le rendu pour un même niveau de maintenance ne va pas justifier beaucoup de théories à la con.
Cela ouvre par contre un putain de champ de considérations sur la maintenance et les stratégies de rotation qui sont pas tirés des vers. La réduction de la vigeur et de l’activité hormonale, je le savais déjà. Par contre niveau SAR, le somalow répond comme un putain de légionnaire. A tout. Ce qui en fait un matériau bien plus malléable pour les triploïdes et d’autres trucs hors piste.
La suite en blunt le mois prochain, pour le prime.

The F1s, quite demanding. They aren’t supposed to be so numerous at this step, long ride. I pass the screenings centimeter by centimeter, the heterosis is super strong.
Subgroups without categories for now, i push a bit and let them eat everything available in the medium. Just like the S1s aside …
Another SD Fuel MP recycled on left, direct after the cuts ^^ I will prune clean later during stretch.
On right, i’m proud of two forced clones (fuel). I’m flowering one, stash. They are ridiculously cool to show in lolipops ^^ 2 liters medium. I put back the other in veg, transplanted, as fail safe for the batch of gen4 clones i just made.
Gen4 on the go in the second prototype of the hydrocloner. Simpler than my previous version, silent the fuck, distribute heavenly. No dome needed, i even applied booster (aptus startbooster) in the tank yesterday.
A week for rooting on the SD is quite optimistic lol, but overall i gain a lot of time and space. No dome needed at any step, the plant never stop. I like it. Soon a contest with wifey, overall lenght to first transplantation ^^
Sincerely with the gnats attack and all … i wasn’t expecting to dial her. But it’s on the rail for a show, my heart just break each time i open the tent.

They are incredibly strong and are pushing the plant’s tags to dodge the light. Very fun ^^ Of course no trace of high brix on these poor damned souls.
