Have you considered sourcing some genetics that come directly from the Rif mountains? I bet they would do amazing in your climate… I know Real Seed Company sells an improved Moroccan line. (I would love to do an outdoor grow of it, but my cold, wet part of the world would probably not agree with it!)

I somewhere have a pack of Beldia in the fridge, but never found the time to play around with them.
I was looking for some Lebanese stuff to plant, but i didn’t found anything that catched my eye…
some of the moroccon stuff finish quite early, so i think you should give it try.
Maybe mix it with some of the old danish strains to get smt really resistant

I’ve just soaked a lot of Syrian reproductions—going to try to get a late crop in my greenhouse, and hope I can avoid too much mold!

I like taht stuff from this area. Syrian,Lebanese, Egypt and i once hade some from Libya what that made an amazing hash! You could feel the Orient in the high.

It’s a little funny—so many breeders are clearly doing good work improving the Mediterranean landraces in terms of yield, potency, etc., but having lived in both Morocco and Syria and enjoyed some hashish that was not as strong, I must admit I am chasing a certain nostalgia… the “taste of the Orient,” as you say

Yeah nowadays if you wanna sell something here, it needs a high-thc, as higher as better. Not so many people seems to care about the high. Same with the buds if you look at cookies & stuff…
There is nothing like a sebsi of some nice old school hash & fresh mint tea, while watching the coast of the old continent 
I’ll be in morocco in a few weeks, but it get’s harder to source some proper beldia

UPDATE TIME
Welcome on Board everybody!
It was quite hot these days, so i was too lazy to get outside to take some nice pictures.
The Plants are doing well, only the one in 1gal pots had smaller issues as the compost teas was not working quick enough - they are on mineral fertilizer and enjoying it.
The big ones had a compost tea last week as they started to show a bit yellowing to the beginn of flower - just as expected is the soil mix a bit to weak for 2m+ Plants… Everything under 2m is doing just fine.
The hash project turned out to be a hard one… Just clay and rocks, so instead of changing the whole area, i only made some furrows.
Of the clones planted, around 20 could not take the heat and died, they get replaced by some seeds i made last year when i was hunting the perfect Blueberry taste. Its a cross of (GDP x Snowlotus) X (OldTimeIndiana Bubblegum xSSH.)
So it could be something interesting in there, ah and some autoflowering was planted as well.
Inside is going well as we getting closer to ChopDay 
The other tent is preparing for takeoff

And sure we have some peppers and other stuff, plenty of Nisperos and Almonds and so on…
I have the trim girls coming over next month, so it will be funny harvest time 
Btw…I’ll go to pop the seeds from the auction on arrival, so you can get cuttings in a few weeks

I still have one and a half tent in flowering, (one ending and other one month flower.). And as soon that ends I want to make a “bukake” on all with the pink floyd male. So I have work for some months or more…

The middle one is what i made first…
Then i looked at the actual packaging and figure out two things…
1 . I’m old.
2.Weed nowadays looks like candies (bud and mylars)
So i made the coloured one to have one more catchy, but on the other hand it’s maybe better to have a classic one, to be catchy next to all the candy-mylars.
Thats why i made the third.

I may be (likely am) older. That’s a disclaimer since old farts likely are not your target audience.
That said, I prefer the two lower designs. Easier for my old eyes to read.
About the lower two, I’d like to see both designs including a variety and/or without (the more generic of the two). Just so they convey the same information.
I definitely prefer the lower head to the full body owl.
