Logbook of the Nautilus

one question to the community… I had a real nice pheno of the StrawberryBanana, but of 25 clones none rooted. So i decide to leave half of the buds and leaves on it and let it revegg, but after a few weeks the buds getting first gold, then brown and then moldy.
Now the plant looks like this for 3 weeks

Any idea what to do ,to safe the genetic?
Thanks in advance!

I’m interested in your mix if you don’t mind sharing. I kinda feel I’m able to replicate most mixes of those from Europe as opposed to the amendments that the US and people in Canada use.

Regarding the reveg, I’ve never done it myself so I don’t have much to contribute. But i remember having the stems turn that way similar to your pic (white fungus) after harvesting the plant and leaving it neglected in a corner. It’s new to me that with care that’s happening to you.

Hehe… Thats not white fungus…It’s wax. I had some ants inside the stems looking for something and i tought its’s better to seal it
The soil is made out of coco, compost, peat and the poo of our chickens and neighbors cows for outdoor. This least the whole crop without nutes.
Indoor is just coco, peat and compost. About 40%Coco/40%peat( it’s called Fenabom here and is a mix of peat, dolomite powder and some minerals)
and 20% of our compost.

Thanks for sharing ur mix. Sounds quite simple and effective. Easily sourcable for me as well.:v:t3:

I thought peat and coir are similar in properties and surprised ur using them both. Peat Im aware that it needs dolomite to raise the ph.
Also, I came across a youtube channel locally that incorporates only coco coir in the compost (for brown material) and found that quite interesting. Coir is abundant where I live and I beleive peat is the same for those in EU.
Happing growing :v:t3::slightly_smiling_face:

Keeping the content high…
Another beautiful, sunny day and the humans are hiding in their houses while the plants enjoy the 40°C+ (104°F) outside.
The chickens are out on patrol, but all quite on the western front.

!

Have a great week everybody!

Saludos!

The ones I reveged, I just but in a 18/6 or 20/4 light in my veg tent. While I have a lot of dot they are because I like to help. I have only been growing since 2017 and still depend on the community for help. The dotes don’t necessarily mean growing experience. People can get them by start threads and making post get dots, rather they even have started growing.
I had a mini donkey. I had to rehome when my hubby’s Alzheimer got advanced. He went to keep a horse company in a very nice clean large pasture.
I never got back to visit because my husband took to much time.

Oh okay. I still don’t get all the features of this page…
Sorry to hear that about your husband!
We’ll pray for him.

They are our neighbors Donkeys, but we let them in our garden instead of trimming the weeds.
Beside that they are a great protection against the foxes and so funny animals. Yetserday they try to invade the pool

Thank you very much for your reply!

Thanks man!
This year i started way too late for the outdoor season and then my first set of clones and seeds were killed or nearby killed by the :chicken:patrol. So i had to start again what made it even later :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:
This pictures are from last year… same place, same mix, but planted in end of March.

Hola Everybody!
half of you as probably slepping… I found the “Why are you awake” thread… Well cause i’m european @Foreigner
Yesterday i was thinking about making some nice hash, but my stocks are running low and i don’t want to use the last flowers to make it.
Due the small distance we have a lot of moroccon stuff here, but the quality is changing a lot and the really good ones gets pricey ones it’s landed.
But i live in the mountain with plenty of space and nearly the same clima…SO i decide to make my own hash run this year.
Yesterday I placed about 110 clones of different genetics from the garden plants in a X-Stream propogator and the suvivors will get planted in the backyard.
I’ll prepare a 20m2 living soil bed with automatic irrigation, so it will be a kind of outdoor SOG. Thats the place :

We have no neighbors, but a lot of boars around there and the area is not fenced so let’s see how long it last

You can grow a perimeter of rose(hip) bushes and blackberry bushes around your garden to keep the boars out, and any other mammals large or small. Prune every year and leave the pruned thorny stems on the ground.

Step right up… Step right up & welcome on board!
Last Days it’s nearly 40°C here. In combination with a humidity of more then 80% it’s
really not nice to be outside  Due this fact i had to change plans an instead of changing the whole soil/rocks on the 20m2, i’d just made some furrows
and changed the soil in there.
From the 110 Clones, around 40 couldn’t handle the heat - the rest don’t mind.
Here are some impressions from yesterday morning:
