My wife quit cold turkey and stopped for about 5 years, but when a big family distress hit, she started back up for a while. She found that vaping 0% tobacco worked for her. It isn’t for everyone, but it is so much better than the alternative for her.

Ive had many people I worked with that have died from lung cancer. I used to smoke 3 packs a day of Export a greens.
My lungs are fucked from smoking.
Around 2015 I switched to vaping. Learned how to make my own vape juice for really cheap. To be honest I dont think vaping is any better, but I was able to lower my nicotine dose as wanted since I made my own. I eventually lowered it enough and threw the expensive vape in the garbage.
Been free from nicotine since 2019.
If I can do it,so can you. You got this man.

I was 2 packs a day. Way to go. I think the part I miss most about smoking, is waking up in the morning, gagging on god knows what my lungs tried to get rid of while I was sleeping. And the neighbors listening to me try and hack up a lung. Ahhh, the good old days. sure miss them, NOT.

Im trying cold turkey and have only had 3 smokes since Nov 1st 
Once I get it in my mind that it is so hard to do and that one smoke will set me back. All the hard work and mental struggle it takes to quit would all be for nothing if I light up, and that motivation is what’s keeping me from sparking a dart.
Smells and taste buds are already coming back… Holy shit do my clothes stink 
I know it’s only been a couple of short days, but I feel good about this attempt.
As well, the sooner I quit, the sooner I can take Max for a walk.

I never smoked, but lots of my friends do. I went camping with them and in the morning I could hear them all coughing shit up. GROSS!!! Of course, they denied it happened. I wonder if they got used to it or something? Just part of life they don’t notice anymore.
Some of them are older than me and have the COPD. Sunlight shining on them makes it hard to breathe.

I’m so stoaked I’ve gone this far. Why would I want to eff up that feeling?
So in 3 months I’ll be laid up for a year, but it will all be worth it to walk again.

I also got 2 viparspectra 1500x from Amazon. But they came with different drivers. Kind of annoying… Because one controler goes, 5%, 20, 40, 80, 100. And the other goes 0%, 25%, 50%,75%100%.
Making it uneven across the hole canopy. But I don’t see it being that much of a dilemma. Just weird. I wonder what driver is better.

Thanks @Natea ya, a year is a heck of a recoup time. But I’m ready for it.
I’ve got a project to do, I’ve got thousands of old negative slides from my folks over the years that I have always wanted to digitize. Unfortunately you have to scan each one separate then Photoshop each picture, I think. I’m just looking into what it will take to do. But I think it will be good to try.

Scarlet grapes was the best smoke this year for me and I’m lucky to have two pucks of it.

I’ve topped every plant I’ve grown, except for these. I also usually start in solos but with in experience I usually transplant to early so the tap root never hit the bottom.
these were towel started then straight into the 3g with no lst or topping.
That’s great news on the Scarlett @globalhead it will be nice to compare it to the CDxMB buzz. Still my alltime favourite, of my short growing career .

The fems in the 5x5 are coming along slowly. I believe it’s due to not being able to sustain a high enough humidity in the tent.
But with the last run getting PM. I guess I’m a bit chicken to get the hum9up that high.
I culled 1 that wasn’t doing anything except looking really cute 
I pulled it and planted the bag seed of runtz that I started, I’m very surprised this has been doing better than most of the others. I started it about 3 weeks after the rest.
We’re running low on personnel smoke, so after only a month I pulled out the PPP hash I made.
What a great addition to a pipe, bong or joint, slow burn. Wild hashbody buzz. Love it!

I don’t see powdery mildew, but additionally, humidity doesn’t cause powdery mildew, instead it’s exposure to the mildew parasite. It comes in on infected plant material.

The Meatbreath is super condensed I guess is the word. But the branches aren’t growing outwards as much. Wondering if it’s strain specific or if I’ve done something.
The walkinstein is doing superbly well. I keep forgetting this is a cross with Frankenstein in it lol
Other than that, everything’s looking great for a flip to 12/12 soon

Nice! I have a Meatbreath and Walkenstein growing now too, the Meatbreath is pretty condensed as well, I’m using the same trainers to tie down
I flipped mine. Little early because I know the Walkenstein can gross big, I hope I gauged it correctly. 
Your plants always look so much better than mine btw, you have your grows dialed in very well!
