Michigan outdoor grow log 2022

I’ve grown out purple badlands which is a Flo x and that was absolutely dynamite. Excuse me while I pull up a seat.

Very nice :+1:t2: @Kavman and I really appreciate and hope you’re having a great start to the week with such a great lineup of
… still no words especially with the flo and chemdog and I am probably going be a bit more interested in the Flo x White Widow cross but I’ve been looking for some flo for awhile and I just figured I’d see it in crosses and to think that it’s DJ Short Flo from the 90s is awesome to keep it around because like I mentioned it’s a bitch finding it without paying an arm and a few legs LoL Happy Growing The Doc

you get bad bugs there?

Also I am still very new to strains and lineage but what’s the difference between chemdog and chemdawg if any ?

Flo is a fussy one to grow indoor. It prefers outside. The cross is real nice outside too. It turned out nice indoors.

@ColeLennon its handy for me. Those push some air so you need to have space. They make smaller one too. They work well.
@DrGonzo13 me neither. I never new the difference even existed. I thought it was all dawg at first haha.

I’ve always assumed that as well but I figured I’d never know if I didn’t ask LoL The Doc

Bugs are everywhere. IPM is must outdoor. You have to think maintenance. I spray with 15 ml neem 5 ml dry kelp 60 hydrogen peroxide. That sprayer does this task perfectly. That’s per gallon.

that’s good to know thank you :metal: :metal: :metal: I’ve been foliar feeding every other day with Kelp Me Kelp You at 2 teas per gallon since clones went outside 2 months ago. I spray with neem oil and dawn dish soap as needed when I see an “Insurgent” I get a lot of constant wind on my grow as of last year no mold and bud rot was minimal

@DrGonzo13 there is a chem d discussion thread on here that is quite an interesting read. It’s lengthy but lots of good info on the strain.

@ColeLennon @LedZeppelin You can do what you can but in the end Mother Nature has her own ideas. Some years and some spots are better than others. This is the second time at this spot. It’s very sandy. I fill my outdoor plots with used indoor soil. I try and grow a variety to keep the harvest manageable. I don’t select plants for yields as much as I do for flavor and potency. These are just my indoor strains ran outdoors.

Things are progressing right along. Divine Gelato is already producing a good amount of resin already and is the furthest along as of now. Bonus pic of the chemdog inside probably at day 30. I usually pick around day 55.
I was gonna fertilize today but it’s raining. Fogged Dr.Zymes the last 3 days in a row and that’s it for the year unless something crazy pops up. I may do a BT spray if I see any caterpillars. Haven’t seen one yet. They sprayed our area this spring with BT for Gypsy moths bonus for us cannabis growers. Peace out

Very awesome. Definitely jealous of your ability to grow outside. Michigan has some much better laws at the moment than Illinois.
