I also noticed you wanted 40x rather than 60x, would you recommend that for a phone as well?

All you really need is a jewelers loop, something similar to this:

It depends on how steady your hands are. A less strong scope would be better for me because I shake from time to time.

And up jumps the devil.

I thought about those jewelry loupes but thought the larger one would help lessen how much the shakes affected my vision with it.
Now I’m rethinking that.

I would re-think it also. I bought one like you show that clips on a phone. It is actually harder to use than just a loupe.

I have very unsteady hands also. I bought an adapter to be able to mount my phone to my microscope and it works pretty good.

I have thought about buying one of those iphone mounts (cage) so I can hold my phone by the two handles of the cage for picture taking.

They off many kinds and powers of lenses…

I have one of these as well. Mine only has a USB plug but this one is usable with your phone. I just pull a small sample bud when I want pictures of the trichomes.

Mine is much like that one but Bluetooth to phone. Does nice and it has adjustable light level and a nice zoom feature. For about $20. I thought it was a good deal.

Yeah. That’s about what I paid too, but they were awful proud of those Bluetooth ones back then.

what brand or model is it? with Bluetooth to phone

So far I like everything I have seen… Ms Trish is gonna kill me if duloxetine withdrawal don’t.

I like the idea of taking a picture rather than just viewing it for myself cause that way I can share the picture and get the opinion or advice of others.

Remind me again of exactly what I am looking at on the plant to be able to determine when to harvest… I can touch a tomato and tell exactly when to harvest it. Cannabis not so much.

You look at the trichomes on the plant, specifically on the buds. Clear trichomes aren’t ready yet. If you like a more clear headed high cloudy trichomes are what you want, amber trichomes will give more of a couchlock effect.

Here is a pic of trichomes:

I break my leaf off and rest everything on the table and than I usually have to hold it down with a finger or two, to keep it from bouncing around while holding it. In other words, I know how you feel.

Great illustration! Can you post a link to that chart? I would like to print that and put in my greenhouse office.

@THCeed
My father had the shakes, I have them and my son has them as well. The strange thing is that it doesn’t bother my son or myself when we play an instrument. He’s an amazing guitarist. I’m just passable but I have fun. lol
Still, it’s strange that I never get the shakes while playing.

Thanks, that looks like a great resource.
