@MoBilly, I’ve eaten some breakfast, taken pills, hit the bong a couple of times… This day has definitely been to my liking. Thank you.
I suspect at least a part of your day has or will involve the making of music, perhaps bringing joy to others as well as yourself. That knowledge makes me certain that at least that part of your day has been very much to your liking! 
Evening chores include milking, I assume.

Yep. We are only milking one nanny right now. We don’t get a lot from her because she’s feeding two young ones but we’re about to wean those and will be getting a full milking again. Come Spring we should be milking two again and then four once the little ones are mature. Our goal is five milkers. That way we can have three in milk at all time and give two a rest period from milking.
And yes.I’ll be doing some picking this evening working out a new old song I just became aware of. lol

If you have any nursery’s around they will usual sell them for a nickel a piece UpTo $1.50 for 35 gal plastic pots.

Morning Brother. Hope you get a break from doing other folks’ chores.
Back in the 70’s i would go by my (first) wifes grangmothers house. She was about 90yrs old. Barely had electicity. No running water. So i would go by and draw a few buckets of water from her well. She got to where she could not do it anymore. I also would feed her chickens and collect eggs. Fun, fun, fun!

OH and @BigMike55 , I am only working my own homestead now. Delores is home. She even offered us some cash for fuel we used and some work that needed done on her fences that we took care of for her. That’s given us a little more to help with the OK trip!
I’d call that a most welcome development in my plans.

Awe, yeah. She was a really good old woman. Stories galore. And very pleasant to be around. I could sit for hours with her.

Any other time that would have been the case. We’ve done for her for years but this time she offered and I wanna go to the gathering. So and extra $30 will help. Well… say $20 after the fuel we used in the truck. lol
