Thanks @Oldjoints . So what is it about these bags that makes them so much more than the competition? A LOT more. I buy quality gear for the most part. Then I take care of it. I believe you get what you pay for, but for something that gets just occasional use this.
Seems like there would be something serviceable between $25 and $225.

These bags are heavy duty and will last you many years. I have been using mine now for about 6 years and they are like brand new. If you want a cheaper version you can always go for this kind of product, but I can’t speak to their quality as I have never used them:

Mine are around 20yrs old… lol well used and worn, but still in service

My last set lasted that long also, until I lent them out…….

Maybe a bong and a blintz? A smoke and a pancake?

I use these ones from the bubblebagdude. They may only cost 1/4 what those expensive ones cost, but they are solid and, you can buy four sets of these for the price of one set of the expensive ones.

I’ve gotten very fond of hash. Even more so lately @BigMike55 . lol
That last is the absolute bomb

If they work they work, that’s what matters. I bought the expensive ones because I use mine a lot. I am making hash every couple of weeks or so and was afraid the cheaper ones wouldn’t hold up. Plus I had used these bags before and knew they would last no matter how they were treated.

Yeah. for me I can see the point of not popping for the real deal at this time. I’ll be very lucky to be still making hash in 20 years. I’d be 83 years old and I already have a pretty bad hitch in my giddy up. lol
But I already have my Bubble Bags.

But have you used them?

Yes. Twice. I still have some left. It tastes like crap, will get you a short lived buzz going but at least it’s harsh.
Yeah. I am looking forward to my next batch now that I’ve been producing better flower.

This time of year food gets scarce and critters get brave.
2 weeks ago around this time of morning I heard a loud ruckus right out the front kitchen window. Opened the door and a real big bobcat had pinned a chicken up against the house right under the window we were standing by. Crazy!

When I bought them, I took into consideration the fact that I am quite lazy and, might not use them so readily. My initial thoughts were: “I’ll buy a cheap set to give it a try and, if they don’t last, but I decide that making bubble hash is something I want to continue, I will consider buying a more expensive set later.” I have used them 3x in 12 years :joy: It turned out to be too much hassle for me and, I have concluded that I prefer smoking buds.

When I first started making hash it would take me a year to get enough trim to make a worthwhile batch. Now I can’t even come close to using what I have over the course of a year  I need to make a huge batch and freeze dry it up for long term storage…cus the freezer is 3/4 full of buds.

@herojuana.tom …I love the bud but it doesn’t like me anymore. A day of doobs clogs me up but good. Hash out of the bong doesn’t. Thus, I smoke mostly hash these days. For me it’s far less hassle to set up and make a nice batch of hash than it is to (hang and) trim all of those plants hard. Strip the fans then snip, snip snip…right off the stick into the bag.

Diff’rent strokes and all tho… that’s what makes it fun

My personal opinion here.
I have been using BubbleBagDude bags.
Here my feelings. Im making my hash in a table top washing machine. So as long as i clean the bags after each run, they stay nice. I have run three times through these and they are still new-(ish).
If i were using a drill motor and a paint paddle, i might spring for the expensive ones. They are ptobably much better material. The paint paddle would be more apt to come in contact with the sides and the screen part.
But in the washing machine these work just fine. nothing every really toches the screen, except hash water and a spoon for collection.
Just my opinion.
I do make decent hash, right @MoBilly ?
