I’m sorry your tore up @MoBilly. I’m pretty cooked from 18 hour day yesterday. Mom had double cataract surgery. Today I rest. Now back to my bowl and coffee. Hello the rest of you maniacs!

Thanks. I’m up. Just now made it to the living room. I’ll be on the DL for a day or two but I don’t think there’s any permanent damage. I just can’t clean stalls like I used to. lol
I guess I’ll have to be more careful because I really was taking my time and not pushing it to get done or anything. I have to get stuff done though. I can’t leave my girls laying around in their own shit.
Now Eva has to do hers and mine. Knowing that hurts more than my back.
Okay. Done sniveling. We all have a ticket on the same boat. Getting old is not for the weak. lol

Cleaning goat pens is work for a younger body, ideally. Lol. I helped my mother when I was younger clean out a goat pen to make compost. Hard stinky work. Not the worst job but its not for the weak willed!

They do grow on you… Kinda like a neighbor that you couldn’t stand for the first 5 years only to find out that all that time he’s been telling all your other neighbors that you’re not all that bad…
I thought about doing a full dose of shrooms last night and then though better not. I don’t know how intense pain would effect the trip. From what I understand a good happy mindset is crucial to a pleasant trip. Last night was so rough. I believe I’d have had a bad time tripping on top of that.
That’s what I was doing. Mom took all my compost for her garden last year. But now I have a pile of the stuff 20’ x 15’ x 5’ approximately. They do crap a lot. lol

The pain is tolerable today as long as I stay put in my recliner. I’ll be working slowly all day at gaining more ability to move around. Sitting too long is absolutely NOT conducive to recovery. I’ll get stiff and be laid up for days if I just sit right now.
OTC pain pills, ice packs, pot/hash/rosin and easy stretching until I can get going. I’ll be back to 51% in a couple of days.
I have plenty of what Granny called “busy hands work” to do that can be done right here in my chair. I just hate being locked into the thing. It’s like jail with no bars. lol

Grampa had a spreader, when the shit pile got too big, he’d load it up and spread it over the acreage that was used for the household garden and the money crop fields as well. Always had bumper crops!

All this compost is going into raised beds this year. No more bending over to pull weeds!
I also plan to put out some special seeds come Spring. The powers that think they be haven’t even been checking on who might be growing now.
