Move him or leave him be?

One other thought @Rhino_buddy , here where we are harvest is always playing with start of the cold. Would not want to remove it’s house so close to or into the cold, better to give it a better chance to find a good place for winter.

Another great point @DougDawson ! I definitely have a longer growing season at 39° N latitude. :yum:

On that same note, I let most spiders hang out in my indoor plants. They’re welcome to hang out in here all winter. The worst is when I’m bringing in firewood and they’re hibernation is disturbed by being in the warmth. I’ve saved a few spiders from inside the fireplace before they burned alive. Those few got to stay indoors. But they’re mostly jumping spiders. Super cute! Like teddy bears.

Prove me wrong. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Anyone ever been spider hunting? You just need a headlamp, or flashlight.

Wolf spider I believe. They eat Brown Recluse, Black Widows and Scorpions. They also don’t spin webs. They are pretty cool.

Yes! Looks sorta like our wolf spiders here. They’re awesome because they lay their eggs on their abdomen, and when they hatch there’s all these tiny wolf spiders crawling on the back of their mom for a few days. Super cool spiders!

We also get lots of Dock Spiders which are related to the Wolf Spider and carry their young the same way.

Cool photos guys!..Not a spider, but hey, I’ll take all the help I can get…

On the spider note, here are some web covered buds from last year, definitely a different species so yeah, Im not sure about the OPs species, been told “they are mites” but no, this was from arachnids. By the time I harvested, they weren’t even there, was really cool but I was worried about them, turned out great in the end…

I love all life, hell, even a rock aint that bad!

I just leave all the bugs on my plants when I see them. I could be there all day trying to evict them all.
The next day I would be doing it all over again.
I definitely believe in doing a good bud wash on outdoor plants at harvest. Removes alot of shit you don’t want.

@Yetigrows , that appears to be Agelenopsis aka American grass spider.

It’s web is not particularly sticky, so it should be easy to remove. It’s a venomous spider and only harmless to humans because it has small fangs designed to penetrate other insects and cannot penetrate our skin.
We’re lucky it has small fangs… just sayin.

My favorite security insect is the Praying Mantis by a long shot.
Mantises will eat absolutely anything that moves on your plant… even other mantises.

They are the most formidable opponent you can have protecting your plants and they won’t leave until your plant has been thoroughly cleaned. When the food sources dry up, they leave, in search of food.

I’d call this :spider: showing up as a blessing!

Keep 'em around and call this one a “spiderplant variation”
