It is usually suggested to use unflavored soy or wheat protein isolates. Yes, L-amino acids are produced by enzymatic hydrolysis and are easily absorbed by plants. This product does appear to have amino’s from all the different amino acid groups except the acidic side chain group-- this product should be fine to add as supplements to your feed to provide some extra amino acids to your plants.
Tryptophan is one of 22 standard amino acids and is an essential amino acid in the human diet. Because L-tryptophan(the form required by the human body) can not be produced by the body itself, it must be obtained through diet or through supplementation.
In 1989, the over the counter sale of L-tryptophan was banned in the United States after a manufacturing error by one of the world’s five L-tryptophan producers introduced a contaminant into the product that resulted in more than 1500 cases of eosinophilia-myalgia syndrome (ems) (which is characterized by muscle pains, increasing fatigue, skin rash, shortness of breath (sob), cough, and swelling around the ankles and eyes) and in at least 37 deaths. The manufacturing error was identified and corrected relatively quickly, and there have no reports of eosinophilia-myalgia syndrome (ems) resulting from the use of uncontaminated L-tryptophan.
In February of 2001, the FDA loosened it restrictions on the sale and marketing of tryptophan. In 2005, the FDA fully lifted the ban on tryptophan and is now legally sold as a dietary supplement.
Im fairly certain im dealing with a small PM issue at the moment.
Ive been trying jorge cervantes theory of influencing genetics to produce more females.
One of the recommendations is high humidity. On top of pushing that its been rainy here lately. Thats what I get for trying to be mother nature I guess lol.
Got a little sulfur and turned off the humidifier and everything seems to be sorting itself out. Ill get you some before and afters in a week or so.
@CARE_giver I actually tried that last round rolling into super high humidity realms on and off. Even rolled it high enough one morning checked them at they were “sweating”. I was pretty neat to play with and def had an effect of the over all growth and traits. But I’m not sure it really effected the sex.
