My first Hydro Setup 🌿

the cupped clawed leaves has me stump cold soil-less /water will do that and lights out on a concert floor

it take times for soil/ water to warm up

air gets hot fast and we extract it right way, so is your water warming up enough or staying warm

long enough

plant problems kill me unsolved as it is not that hard

temps at night range from 65-70 in the veg tent (which is where the hempy’s are at). While reading last night, i came across some information that the salt buildup can also cause that leaf curling to happen.

What’s your conductivity at?

I’ll have to check when i get home. I was so tired last night, i let my plants go eep.

I suspect, that the salts are terribly high. Going to water tonight and check the runoff.

If this is true, am I like starving these plants to death? This was on royal queens website.

I thought your ppms were too low. I didn’t want to jump the gun earlier cause I’m kinda new at hydro too. But it dose look that way. Starving your plants and all…
What was your ppms going in? At that stage you should be at IMO least 700ppm. I run mine at 1000 in veg. In preflower 1100, full-flower 1200.

Your meter is fancy🥰
I don’t run hempy. If I have anything wrong everyone please chime in.
I should have said something earlier.

I would say that is an extremely low conductivity reading. In my system that’s equal to tap water.

From the reading I’ve been doing, hempy is exactly like hydro, just with the medium. Same ph, ppm/ec as dwc.

Guess once I get this dialed in ill be on to dwc.

I’m seriously wondering how I ever thought this would be more difficult than soil. At least with hydro, the plant is getting only what I want.

Total control :stuck_out_tongue::rofl::v::peace_symbol::call_me_hand:

My tap water is at 0

most of your plants probably have low conductivity then, just a blip above tap water. Nothing that registers on any feeding chart, heh heh.

Oh fr, the ec was .2 from the runoff.

Awwww yeah, get ready…

I hope this fixes everything for you. I know the feeling when I grow mine and something just don’t feel right. The itch you can’t scratch. Terrible Terrible.

Ok, so seeing a consistent rh in the flower tent of 55+ (right now, 60 :grimacing:)

Any advice on which dehumidifier to get?

Consumer grade dehumidifiers seem to all be standard. I think I have a cheap one from Walmart or Home Depot. Its lasted me for 4 years so far.

Some good names in the business Aprilaire. Munters. Quest. Sylvane. Ebac. But those are all big money and pull a lot of water for the amount of electricity spent
