Ohh your making butter. I like “why did she do that to her buds?” I need to start reading better. I only read what I wanna read. Lol. Adorable raccoon. I really do need to recycle more.

What do you use the butter for. I haven’t done much cooking. I would like to. My grandmother don’t like to smoke the stuff. So I was thinking she might like edibles.

I use coconut oil as it has a higher fat content then butter. It can be used liquid or soild 1 to 1 to butter. I also use it on :pancakes: in the mornings. Lol

Tomorrow I’m making some peanut butter cookies. :peanuts: :cookie:

Each cookie will have approximately 11.6 mg thc.

I’ll have to try that!!!

Yea, hydro can go bad fast if you’re not paying attention and looking for signs all the time. But after you’ve gone through 10-12 full runs it will all be auto pilot.
Of course you’ll get a little anomaly here and there, but no big things.

If you do decide to make the leap to hydro don’t skimp on your PH/EC meter. Go for EC not PPM. You can get by with cheeper one but you will wish you hadn’t. Altho I did see a truncheon meter that seemed reasonable from eBay someone pointed out to me recently. Let me know if you would like the information.

Ok, so after thinking about this, the time constraints I have amd my desire to go after autoflowers, this will be my scrog experiment.

Plan to run (1) hempy in the 32x32 half of my cloner/veg tent. Now I just need a better light to flower with.

Suggestions? I love hlg, but I’m not trying to go bakrupt here…

Well maybe this one…

Anyone use one of these?

Ooh - This is a nice looking light. I have no experience with the light but curious what kind of autos you are looking at?

I like the HLG but the Maxsisun dose have nice diodes. I haven’t been reading much about lights recently. I will be building my next light.

The LM281’s in the maxisun aren’t as good as the 301b’s in the HLG, but it is half the price for an 8% efficiency loss per watt compared to the HLG soo… might be worth it if warranty is the same, assuming you care about that. If you don’t care about warranty, then its really hard to not say go with the maxisun.

My only other thought with this experiment is:
Try and see about making the SCrOG screen attach to your bucket/tote and not to the floor or walls of your enclosure. Otherwise you’ll need to prepare a way ahead of time to drain and fill your pot without lifting or moving it as once it’s in that screen… there isn’t really a way to get it out of that screen unless you’re chopping one of the two. If it’s attached to the top of the pot, especially if it’s a two pot hempy setup or something, you could lift the plant out and not have to worry about messing it up.

Exactly, which is why the one plant in Scrog, already have the drip tray in place/shop vac. Will just be another hempy. :v::peace_symbol::call_me_hand:

Sorry if I made it seem like the Maxsisun had better diodes. I know it might have sounded that way. I just know samsung dose do good work.

I’ve been running the vipsar xs series. They have the 301b diodes. I have been very impressed with the growth of my plants since switching.
