Bandaid Haze #7 x Sensi Star
2 boys, one cup
BB Parfume x Laytonville Blueberry x Brasil
He had fallen down, so the morphology is all scrunched up
Harlequin x Bangi Haze x Goji
These are becoming a quick favorite.
I had written off all my Bangi Haze work when I found out its true lineage (congo #3 x NL x Mexican x Afghan). But then I thought, well the seeds I made with the Harlequin should be a good CBD carrier. When I sprouted them last year, I was happy to find some epic candied smells in there.
Adding the Goji, I see, brought even stronger smells and incredible rooting.
Im excited to see how these smoke.
One of them, I just now rubbed some resin and the smell brought me back to childhood.
Its funny, that “childhood” smell effect is my premier criteria for selection. I think it comes from our relationship with the plant. Like, no matter what I grow, if I breed it, the progeny will help ease any ailments I have.
Checked on the plants today
They really need another month, but weather is providing only a week or two before the Freeze.
But, there should be enough mature seeds from the early males to make it worth it and start acclimating to western NY.
One of the most fragrant is the F2 of Burning Bush.
Her leaves are purpling nicely and Ive been sniffing my fingers the whole car ride home to smell that candied perfume.
