wonder whats lined up from this crossā€¦bet they spread far and wideā€¦there is a winner in there for sureā€¦id bet money on it!!! They look super healthyā€¦

I have a tomato plant in my Veg.\Mom tent.

  • I read that the nightshade family is a natural companion plant against aphids
  • I fill a slot in my cloner with tomato vine to put out natural rooting hormonesā€™ as well.

just something I read thoā€¦

a grown man DOES NOT need to be told what to grow in his gardenā€¦love it! I was just thinking if he cut clones of all those NL5ā€¦i know lots of people who would be interested in clones/seeds and pollenā€¦anyone know someone???
the guy holding the goods decides who gets whatā€¦perhaps just throwing it out thereā€¦50 clones would go quick!

500 would be fasterā€¦even a little bit is a lot!

Iā€™ve heard that and basically doing that, but if you saw the one tomato plant I grew this summer, youā€™d think I have a black thumb lol.
I have several hot pepper cuttings that I took from my outdoor plants, Iā€™ll be growing them on the veg side of my tent for a while. When they get bigger, I might just put them out in the kitchen on their own shelves and lights.

I remember back in my bullrush growing days, there was a creek that flowed into a pond that fed into the lake. All season long i had a beaver hanging out.It was a great warning alarm for me when i was out at night tending to plants, the whole season the beaver never bothered them.Had some purple passion that were a week from done, went back a week later and didnt that freaking beaver chop them and stuff my 10ft girls in his beaver dam.

Looking forward to seeing these and sour d x NL 5 sounds like a winner for sure thatā€™s going to be fun to hunt through I bet there might be some crazy vigorous plants in the F1 Gen. How did you get rid of the mites I just went through a battle with them but mine were already 3 weeks into flower before I found them. I was able to save most of it between trimming off infected branches, ice water spray to kill and blowing them off the plants with a air compressor lol but still sucks it even happened .

I used safers insecticidal soap. I caught them early so it wasnā€™t so bad. I will treat them again in a week.

I remember growing a killer NL5 x Sweetleaf from Joker Seeds. That was late 90ā€™s and its still in my top 5 all-time. Easy to grow, stayed short, grew nice golfball nuggs. Sweetleaf was a culmination of 15 yrs of Jokers work.

Ugh, oh no lol. Id be out for his pelt for that.
We tried growing on beaver huts in the swamp before with mixed results. What was touched was gone. Nothing left but a couple of leaves maybe.
Maybe it took it home with him ? lol
I dont miss growing in the swamps. but people dont stumble upon em in the swamps. Its a real tough going navigating the swamp.

Iā€™m finishing up an Ortega from MrNice via @almostdone. It reminds me of an Uzbekistan I grew as far as smell. Itā€™s very strong terp wise, and greasy as hell while trimming before chop.

Ortega is NL#1 x NL#5. Itā€™s my first experience with NL. Iā€™m looking forward to growing the rest of them out to see whats there.

BC Seed Co carried an NL5 line for years. dunno if they even still around?
I bought a pack off Emery and didnt find a keeper.
Emery actually had some good genetics. especially in 1994. But I know once-twice the seeds Im flowering inst what I ordered and beans got mixed up somewhere along the line thru him.

Hey Gman! Happy to hear those are going well for you. I havenā€™t had time to get into them myself. Hopefully soon. Looking forward to what you find in the rest of them. Hopefully a good male for f2ā€™s:).

I collected pollen from one or maybe, two males. They were super small and in one gal. pots. So, not sure of their quality. I figured, Iā€™d save it all. Iā€™ll have a pic I can throw up soon.

Hey, wasnā€™t your town right on the edge of that apocalyptic fire? I freaked out when I looked at a map. I meant to give you a shout. I saw you online recently and that made me feel better. Hope you made it through things okay. peace

You are correct. Thanks for thinking of me. The fire came within about a quarter mile of the house. The town was evacuated but many of us werenā€™t gone for long. So thankful for the many neighbors that held the line until the firefighters returned. They had pulled out for two days when the fire flared up.

Other town were not so fortunate. As uplifting as it was to see so many coming together, my heart aches for those that lost everything.

When the looting and arson began the neighborhood was very prepared. Have never seen so many ARs before:). The moto wasā€¦you loot, we shoot. Regardless of what the media was saying there was looting and arson happening on a large scale.

Hope you find a gem in those remaining beans:). I just realized last night that I have some of dr atomics atomic northern lights. Didnā€™t even realize they are nL5! Theyā€™re on the list:)

You know Iā€™ve never heard a report of looting before but I donā€™t live on the west coast either. They talk and show the fires all the time, but thatā€™s about it.
Thatā€™s some Fucked up ppl who would even think about doing that! :facepunch:

PS: Donā€™t have a AR, but I do have a old 10 gauge my granddad gave me. Filled a few with rock salt! Donā€™t really want to go to prison for killing someone on accidentā€¦But I bet it would get yer attention, lol! :face_with_head_bandage:

Updateā€¦
Not quite a week in and sex is starting to show. Not one sign of a Male yet, SMH. By Sunday the numbers will be in officially I figure. Growth is very vigorous and structure is beautiful. I have clones of all seven plants so that is great but I may have to consider selfing them on this run if I can get the CS in time.
Cheers.

Hopefully get at least one male or two. I know the two I just had were a little late to show sex compared to the girlsā€¦

And not sure if youā€™ve already ordered some CS or how close you are to this, but this STS spray is supposed to be reputable (and maybe easier/quicker than CS?) for $25. Even if you donā€™t need it for these it might be handy later.

I havenā€™t tried it yet but meaning too.
