Octopots big and small and assorted tomfoolery

Thanks @webeblzr i try my best

I have a small 24 x 24 x 24 tent with 35 watts of leds
( It sits on a 24 x 24 x 57 in tent ) For my moms I well attempt to keep them low ( never hah luck I end up taking clones from the moms and when they root I’ll cull the moms ( that’s one way to keep them small lol ) If there’s something special I’ll keep it if not I’ll cull it I don’t want average weed lol
I normally don’t keep moms but since I got a cut of mac 1 caps cut that’s legit and Frankenstein I figured I’d keep a few lol

I do root prune but never tried bonsai style I think flyingfisherman ( garote ) used to do that

My space is a nice size closet lol but it’s crammed way to much next run will be a lot more manageable

With growing it’s always something just out of our reach!! I’m finally getting my new areas sorted, with timing and such. I love my floppy walls. My tent has floppy walls sort of, but the Panda, I’m really falling in love with.
Great work man!! Love your thread!! All the best bro!

Absolutely wonderful reading through your thread @Papalag. I’m out of likes for the day reading this. I may have been a little late for the show, but I’m surely subbed to learn a lot from you and many others out here.
Totally love your setup and the way your working with the octopots. All your plants appear happy to be under your care.
I’m sorry to learn abt your loss-pet birdy Kellie. He looked healthy for a bird that old. Infact I never new they could live that long! Hope he’s at peace enjoying his afterlife…
I’d like to thank @ifish for giving a nice breakdown on how to feed a plant from veg through the different stages of flower using a basic 20-20-20 formula with tap and addressing those mag and cal problems respectively. This teaches me to be “more aware” at different stages of growth and providing those right npk values accordingly.
I’d also like to thank @Habitt for again making those npk values at different stages available through the use of gh flora trio. I was just thinking of figuring out the formulas and as I scroll down…I find what I’m looking for!
Man…it feels great to be a part of this community and learn so much from each one here.
Happy 4/20 everyone! :v:t4::herb::blush:
Edit: I saw your comments on the Landraces of India thread. I’d be more than happy to send some your way. Lemme know what you’re looking for.:v:t4::herb:

Octopots are an amazing way to grow
m sorry to learn abt your loss-pet birdy Kellie
And thanks his breed could have lasted in captivity between 30 to 50 years
Some breeds even reach 100 years

They are a friend for life

Some k2so4 is good : )

Sulphate of potash

For tweekin mixes and also help push even harder to finish at the end , say at end you using 1/2/5 and want to turn feed to more like 1/2/7
Keeping the same lower ppm for total at finish but add extra potash

Or if givin 1/3/2 and you want it to be more 1/3/3 then do the same again
: )

Add a bottle of pk to your tool box add you got flowering covered : )

No need to mix sepate salts to push hard ( not fun )
Numbers in ratios don’t need to be exact , you just push in right direction keep ph and ppm correct and read plants
Pre mixed nutes are great as a base feed as they already got good level of micro elements
We use the suplimements to push the base feed harder in a certain direction : )

Understood brother. As of now, I’ve got the gh flora trio along with calmag and I feel I could use @Habitt 's breakdown on the formula according to your npk values.
What concerns me is what I’m gonna do after my current grow. I may be moving to another country where I don’t think I can import nutrients. But sure I could get my hands on some 20-20-20 and espsom salts. Any kind of nitrates would be difficult to procure without a valid license. So cal-nit may be a problem.
The other option I’ve been exploring is going organic, but then I’ll have to cook my compost for a while. Knf sure sounds interesting but it all requires time.
I’m sure looking forward to reaching out to all of you for any help regarding my grows. :v:t4::green_heart::herb:

Sounds like a far out country : )

Just remember calmag has some n in it so that has to be taken into concideration : )

This feeding method relates to all type of feeding , it’s what the plant wants and when , they don’t care how it’s presented to them as long as it’s available and in the correct ratio for that stage

I’m sure if there’s farmers there you will get all you need and by then you be a mixing wizzard : )

Bro…don’t even ask. :pensive:

I know a few and also there’s a half dutch grower whom I met once. Very slippery guy to meet but a treasure trove of knowledge. But yeah, everyone is paranoid of the other guy so its difficult to have lasting converstaions realted to grows. Third world problems…:v:t4::herb:

I’m finding the same thing with the Frankie mom I got from @GrouchyOldMan
She doesn’t seem to want a lot of nutrients, but she REALLY doesn’t like wet feet.
I’m gonna move her to a cloth pot next week. But she’s still chugging along under a veg light. Waiting until next fall to flower her out.

Mom maintenance day they where getting way too tall

No need to root prune as of yet but they are getting way too tall so some got topped for now I hated to throw out all those branches

Some needed watering so I gave them 20/20/20 at 440 ppms ( water alone is 220 )
And a bit of Epson salt
Bottom fed they drank up 1/2 of what I put them in

They look very healthy in the last picture. No matter how much you pluck off, more grows back, it’s a weed, lol.
