Those are the ones that where floating around here? I have 3 going right now 2 are slightly mutated and growing a bit funky one has normal growth and very vigorous you end up smoking any of it yet? @BirD beautiful plants

Very nice. I try to keep most of what I make unique, but truth be told I made mine to have some for myself cuz this cross is fyre as shidt lol. . Well done!

Some of these do lean toward that ‘black’ category, but I would still call it purple. The Mendo Montage F4 I used is so deep purple that I’m not sure that I’ll find what I’m looking for. I had a Tropsanto that was pure black though, wasn’t impressed with the terps on that at all… but to answer your question, idk lol.

This is the Mendo Montage F4 I selected. I think it’s purple? But idk now after you asked lol. My fear is that Big Pond only selected for color to create his subsequent generations but I could not find even an F2 version, so I went with the F4

That kind of looks purple. Any particular reason you are going away from purple? Is it actually weaker?

That’s part of the reason for sure. Once a plant is totally purple, photosynthesis decreases significantly. That being said, I’ve seen/experienced some serious purple weed, but I’m looking for something more true to the original Mendo Breath

Hey @Crafty_Flame . When I did White Montage (The white/Mendo Montage f1) 4 or 5 years ago, I was getting purple phenos. Ive never grown pure Mendo Montage but the White isn’t really know for expressing purple, so I imagine that purple was in the MM from the start.
This one’s seeded with f2s. Like you, I’m not a big fan of purple but people like it.

I didn’t make the cross, I just grew them out and made f2s. They where made by Thug Pug, around the time he stopped testing for GGG and started using their gear to make stuff for commercial release for himself. And when I read the story of how GGG acquired the original Mendo Montage(along with his whole seed catalog) from Jojorizo and the aftermath, I shelved that project. The flower was nice. Great taste and above average potency.

I’ve never really looked into what went down with them, but that sounds shady AF. I just know a lot of people have an issue with him. That makes me feel a little oogy for using some of his stuff, but it is unfortunately super high quality and I try to make what I think the community wants (or needs and doesn’t know it lol)
Either way, that plant is beautiful and I’m sure the F2’s are gonna be really nice

I’m stoked! Popping all of them for the next sensi run!! Want to give these the best soil and best spots under the lights. Loving the fems!! I have tons of regs, but they just kill my buzz. Watching my garden get slashed after 40 days of time put into it (90ish days from seed to harvest)…so a huge chunk of time wasted.
