Old school arcade and pinball games. Who's got them?

Yes sir, in Manitou Springs. The Penny Arcade.

Thank you man! Now I have a destination the next time I have to go up. I still haven’t driven into the heart of Manitou Springs. I’ve gone right by it on the way up to South Park. It looks like a cool place from the pics I’ve seen. I can’t remember the last time I played a pinball machine with flippers and all, lol. I’m sure pot first, will make me feel like I’m right back in the '70s!

@DougDawson your description of gorgar took me back to playing it I had forgot about the heartbeat used to cover it with a towel and try to play when everyone was sleeping

That’s for sure used to have a gun that had some powder that would shoot like gunpowder when water was added no chance of anything fun like that now

Another game that induced compulsion.
Played at small pachinko halls in Japan. (My Dad was stationed at Yakota AFB for 3 yrs.)
First Pinball was Orlando Fl. 1969.

Nice, always wanted to visit Japan, please looks really nice.

Yeah, me too. They have taken away much of the cool stuff from my childhood.

So OG, anyone else got some old school games to show

Cool stuff man. I’m crazy about games.

I found out during the early 2010’s that for some odd reason, i actally had a knack for fixing these things. Repaired/played/sold probably 75 machines during that period. I really enjoyed it and I miss having them around, but i sold them all to use as a down pymt on our 2nd home at the time. I’d still like to do it today, but it’s so hard to find unrestored machines anymore, they are super heavy for an old man to move around (pinball hernia anyone?), but most of all they got so damn expensive. I’m retired now and it’s hard to drop $5-8k on a game. And honestly, I found out I really liked the fixing more than the playing. The logic required just kind of suits me well I guess

Thank you so much for the link! That looks fun as hell, and Dixon is just a couple of hours away. I’m making a note of that event and am going to try to attend next year. I loved pinball as a kid, though I was no wizard. I don’t know who is.
