Old school newbie looking for advice

FWIW, I went around my tent with some RTV sealant and covered all the minor holes. RTV sealant is good stuff

I’ve also used it for the same thing. :grinning: :+1:

I got a mixed bag of beans going. Have not settled on any one variety as of yet. That’s one issue in this day and age. Many different varieties to explore.

Black gorilla tape works also, and has no smell or dry time.

I’m thinking aluminum/steel tape to keep reflectivity.

Good to know, thank you!! I have not tried the Gorilla tape but the heavy duty duct tape I tried peeled off leaving a sticky mess after a while

 I put the RTV on the outside! And silver tape doesn’t stick on for very long in my experience. It does sound feasible though

I have tried gorilla tape on my tent. Doesn’t stick very well to the outside material. Haven’t tried the inside.

Right, that’s a good point. My experience is all on panda film! So take that advice with the whole shaker of salt!
