My new light came today!

Can somebody help me figure out how to mount my driver’s outside of my tent? I don’t have it up against a wall to use, could they be mounted on wood an set on top of my tent? Sitting in a table behind the tent? Would they get to hot to be set on wood?

Sure you can mount it on something and put it on top. For my Veg tent I just throw it on top of the tent, not mounted to anything along with the 6" exhaust. Just toss it all up there.

I would definitely be concerned…I guess different drivers throw off various temps but I’m not leaving mine on top of the tent.

much less than any hps heat being generated inside the tent rising i would think. one of my drivers i can hold the other one i have mounted on the wall gets hot. so i guess driver dependent as well.

This is what I came up with. My tent temps are down to 71 from 75 since moving them out but I only have it running at 75% to get the plants used to it

I just placed a Wooden trivet underneath it… its Level and not going anywhere. Comfortable to the Hand (ts-1000)

Cool nighttime Temps are ok. But you want to run close to 80f lights on. And when lights off you don’t want too much fluctuation in Temps 10-20 degrees max or you may run into humidity issues.

Durning the day my tent stays between 75/77, at night it drops down to about 70. Nothing two crazy. Prior to getting my new light an moving the drivers out I was hitting around 85 an only dropping to around 75 to 80. I’m out in the desert, humidity is always a issue lol I tried running a humidifier in my tent which did improve growth but it took up sooo much room

Which humidifier did you go with & did you get a inkbird controller for it? I’m looking into that now for my grow, thnx

Make sure which ever humidifier you buy will fire up without hitting the power button each time some won’t turn on by the ink bird alone!

For sure. I just got a slim Newair 400w oil heater & inkbird heat/cool controller for that.
Now I need a small humidifier & humidity inkbird controller. Any suggestions on a humidifier model?
Hoping I can do 2-3 plants, plus heater/humidifier in a 4x4.
