Anyone who is using AC Infinity Fan, where in the tent are you placeing the sensor? I’ve got mine middle of the tent above the lighting. Looking for others ideas about this as I don’t want to get false humidity/temperature readings.
Got the AC Infinity controller set up:
While in Auto mode.
High Temp 28°c - Low off - Fan speed 10
High Humidity 65% - Low off - Fan speed 10
Will be using the tent (while its still in use) to dry my harvests, so I’m aiming for 55% to 65% humidity…
Currently tent is always 30°c with 30/40% Humidity, any advice on how to fix this?
Looking the goods mate
Do you collect A/C runoff? If you can run it in to a bucket in your small tent that will up the humidity a little
I dangle mine in the middle normally. Than have the Inkbird sensor on dangle on one side and the air intake on the opposite so it controls the AC with inside tent temps. Seems to work pretty well.
No bro. My AC is a window style and the runoff is outside the building, likely dripping on someone’s head as they walk by lol
Sweet. Yeah I just got mine “dangling” about mid height of the whole tent, about 3 feet above the lights.
That works. I am also using a window air conditioner controlled by the Inkbird. It works great. If you put a big bowl of water in the bottom of your tent, stick a towel half in and half out draped across the floor with a fan blowing on it you can up your humidity. I did this in my dry tent was the RH was really low when I chopped and brought the RH up over 20%, just got to fill the bowl every day. The towel wicks the water out of the bowl so it stays wet and the fan blowing across it circulates.
If you leave your water out to dechlorinate before you water, you could always place that in the tent but looks like your pretty jammed in there already
I actually do this right now
Yes the tent is packed … Unfortunately ALL my Cannabis related stuff MUST be inside the tent. No space for anything otherwise.
I like this idea ,) I’ll just fill up another container of water and get a face cloth in there.
Yeah, you can see it in the bottom of the one pic. Works great. There is just a clip fan attached to front right pole blowing across the towel so it’s not directly blowing on the bud.
I’m trying to figure out, how to get Temps from 30°c to 28°c MAX & get the humidity UP.
I could lower the fan speed to increase humidity, but then temp will rise likely.
The White circle is the temp sensor
Got a 24" box fan at the top of the tent for air circulation that’s blowing down on everything.
This is a great question. I had been placing mine below the light, around where the tops of the plants would be thinking that’s the humidity my plants would experience. Not sure if that’s right or wrong, but I think I’m going to try putting it above now and see how the readings change.
I actually was doing the same as your said untill today. I’m thinking I was getting “too hot” readings because I’ve got air blowing down in the lights and that heat from the lights would be blown onto that sensor… I’m hopeful by moving it above the lights I’ll get a better representation of actual tent temperatures.
Very nice man, gorgeous Orange Groves. I know I said this before but they keep getting better and better. You’re killing it!
Thanks Brother mean alot.
In the photos you can see yellow spotting on the leaves, I’m assuming the plants are starting to use up Reserve nutrients in the leaves now.
1st run with that no till bucket and it’s pretty sweet. Can’t wait to have a 2nd run in that bucket, of course I’ll add a new layer of Worm bin soil & worms to this bin. As I don’t think any worms are I that Black bin at all yet.
I would go with my setup, it worked for me. Hook your window AC to an Inkbird, than hang the sensor for the Inkbird in the tent on the opposite wall of your intake. That way it will turn the AC on according to the tent temp and not the room temp. Also when the room is cooler increasing the fan might be helpful as you want to be pulling that cooler air in. Off to pick up my cat.
