I hardly write but today i wanted to just jot down my though regarding outside.
Washing Machine . It is the4 biggest fastest growing strain in the bunch. It has light PM on the bottom leaves but it s very promising. DOES NOT CLONE WELL
The white og. Short and bushier then the rest but is still huge. It is the 3rd biggest. no PM on the leaf at all.
Pineapple Chunk: I had really high hopes for this due to its review from other but i feel like it should not be grown outdoors. It is the runt out of the group. no PM though.
Cookie Kush: the second smallest but much more bushier , also a strain i dont think does well outside.
Strawberry Gum: One main cola and was one of the first to flower. It is in a 30 gallon pot that is shares y two other plants but she held her own. Poor germination rate on seeds though. i had 4 only one made it. Clones well
Alaskan Thunderfuck: I have two plants that look like two different phenotype. however they both have the one main kola things going on.
i need to finalize what will do outdoors next year and be more mindful of PM as it is prevalent in new England.

2 power africa
2 super silver haze
3 wedding cakes
2 critical orange punch
1 gorilla breath
1 raw diesel
1 bubba kush
i understand how a lot of these growers for on overgrow have so much foot prints and they journal and I probably have the same for 5 people that visits
normally which I appreciate did not get me wrong but is it because Iām a female grower is it because I only post pictures is it because I donāt go into detail what is it that II Could it do to increase my audience
Get on some other peopleās posts and comment. The more people know and recognize you, the more they will want to see what you are doing. Also, this is your first, so you will make acquaintances in time.
I know who you are Grace. I remember you from over at Autoflower. I find that if I donāt post on my thread almost every day it gets overlooked. Does not really bother me because I do my journal for record keeping mostly. Iām a horrible record keeper.
I can absolutely recommend NYC diesel for outdoor i never got to smoke it cause all the bud rot spread so fast but I remember it was growing moderately slow when I had them under the light inside but man as soon as I took them out BOOM those things shot off for the sky I highly recommend trying those i know I want to again after I eventually move to somewhere more private
@Goodgrace87 I try to read all posts Iām sure Iāve clicked the like button on your postings. I donāt think gender should effect things at least I hope that wouldnāt effect people reading them .

If anything being female could help you gain followers if you become more outgoing. I for one appreciate seeing some female growers in the sea of dudes. Everything takes time, but I notice you got several responses pretty quick
One of my grow threads is largely ignored. I keep updating. I k ow the longer I am around, the more followers I will get every time I start a thread.

my atf hermied and lightly pillinated some branches from the bad ozz og and strawberry gum once i saw the nut sack I ripped it out and composted it. ā¦ i hope it doesnāt do too much damage. should I chuck the seeds once I harvest?
@Bob13 your pollen with my gsc made blue cookies. hoping for one female. if I use the same pollen you gave to me to dust it will it become and f2 ? since the father is the sameā¦
I think that would be a back cross written bx1 for first generation. F is fillial (if im spelling that correctly) which means crossed with its own brothers or sisters of that generation so if you crossed it with its siblings it would be an f1 as right now it is a cross between different lineage so its just a cross if im not mistaken. Theres a whole thread explaining it all somewher here on og which ill try to link later unless someone gets to it first.

Parent = P
So P + P = F1
F = fillial
F1 + F1 of the same seeds = F2
F1 of blueberry + F10 of kush is the same as P + P as it makes an F1
F1 + P1 = BX1
BX = backcross with a parent
F1 + clone or pollen from the same F1 plant (using CS or STS) = S1
S = self
I assume you can then back cross those children again to the first to make a bxs1? Or maybe its just a bx1
Hopefully that makes sense. Of course F1 + F1 = F2 and so on if you keep breeding with its siblings
To stabilise a certain trait you generally keep along the F line selecting for the traits you want and culling what you dont. there are two routes to follow along this line, either breeding male to female or breeding female with female by reversing one of them, when using photoperiod plants people sometimes reverse a single branch to then s1 the plant as it can be easier but in general spraying the whole plant is most effective.
Back crossing is generally used for selecting for a very specific trait that may be recessive and not dominant therefore not showing up as commonly or strongly in the children if crossed with something that has different traits. For example green is a dominant trait and purple is recessive so when breeding a purple with a green the children are much more likely to be green so you may select a child that is close and cross it back to the purple parent to gain more of it genetics as it would then be 2/3 purple and 1/3 green but its never as precise as that.
