Interesting move. One would expect Fluence will use exclusively Osram diodes going forward. I can see a conflict of interest with Osram clients like P.L. Light which uses only Osram diodes, and other LED companies. Now Osram owns a direct competitor with those guys. Hopefully Fluence prices go down! Will they change the design of Fluence lights or leave it alone??

i imagine it’ll continue operating as a stand-alone company, i don’t see much conflict of interest because they’ll want to continue selling their diodes to as many buyers as possible, mid 8 digit sales is interesting, they’re selling a lot of those 5$/watt lights i guess
