Baby chickens. All pullets

Our peahen is laying eggs but not sitting yet.
I would rather her hatch them than us incubate.
She dropped her wings yesterday so there will be another egg soon

I was picking up crumbles for the few we have left and they had them for $1.50. I’m hoping I didnt buy owl food

Peacocks and peahens are beautiful birds, too bad my government doesn’t allow us to domesticate them…
But that didn’t stop them from stealing our chicken’s food at my old place

Started a new flock this year too. Different layers, turkeys and a few guinea hens.
So far we only seem to be able to keep them a few years and something eats them all in on night.
We got hawks that have taken them, fox, coyotes and I think we got a mink or a weasel around after last time

The owls never got our guineas. To fast maybe.
When one of our outside dogs passed we brought the other inside. That’s when it started. We have 2 more outside now so maybe it will help
