Overwatering or End of Life?

Made the mistake of watering a little more than I prolly should have. They were thirsty during stretch and drinking a lot of water and I got into a watering routine instead of feeling the bucket. We are at week 6 but I feel like this is prolly too early for this to have happened naturally.

Yes dial back the water a bit and then then decide if they are not taking it up anymore. 6 weeks is still early.

It looks like the oldest leafs are not showing this damage, only the larger fan leafs at top, am i correct?

Yes correct. I would have thought it was cal-mag but I been feeding cal-mag pretty regularly

Have you seen them being droopy with clawing downwards?

Only the gelato (on the right) and only once. I try to wait but till they droop before feeding but I don’t do it all the time.

Tbh i dont think this is over watering. The leafs should be “puffy”, droopy and clawing down. Might be a lockout caused by salt build up. But wait until others can shime with their opinion.

Whats the PH of run off?

It’s week 6 of bud? If so It’s just senescence. If it’s just week 6 period it’s probably changing between nitrogen up take to more phosphorus uptake. Doesn’t look like lock out or overwatering.

You just take dry towels. Put them up underneath your containers it will suck it right out. If you’ve been feeding them too much they could be having lock out. Water is your best friend.

I have never had plants do this so early tho. The gelato (on the right) I’ve ran as far as 9 weeks with very little yellowing. This the first time growing GDP (got the seeds from the OG fundraiser) and it was the only female out of 10 and it was really a runt. The leaves shouldn’t be yellow yet lol I don’t know much but I feel like it’s too early and now all the leaves are fucked so is there any point in letting it keep going? Is it just gonna survive for three more weeks and take up space in my grow?

Haven’t checked it lol let me do that.

I think I found the problem :joy:

Could it be bloom nutes too early?
Looks like you could have used more “N” early in flower.
No sense in adding it now, just in case you are thinking maybe???

Check your run off/out to see if it is high in ferts aka EC.
Possibly too much "K’ built up in the soil, if you reuse your soil or feed too much VIA boosters.

This could happen if you were feeding straight water instead of food too.

Underfed, or improperly fed is my guess.
Unless you kept them totally soaked all the time, that may just do it too.

Not a bunch you can do now just ride it out till the end.

Good luck

Yeah at this point I’m just gonna flush for a week and hope for the best. I feel like it’s probably lockout cuz my ec is way high I assume that means they haven’t been eating.

Hanna makes a great ph meter. I have been happy. My old one is a little old but it works. I keep a new one also. I check with 2.

What is your nutrition?

GH 3 part, Cal Magic, Mycos WP, Kool Bloom and some Overdrive. I’m quite positive I experienced a lockout so everything I was feeding was just sitting there. I made the mistake of thinking I didn’t need to check the runoff. I flushed both plants thoroughly until the runoff was close to 400 ppm and now I’m giving straight water. Since I’m on day 42 I think I’ll just finish flushing the GDP and chopping in a few days. Live and learn lol

Water will take care of that. Ph between 5.8 and 6 to get the last two out faster. 0-0-0 low ph for p and k.
