Paraphernalia Currently on your Table

I only know one personally but he’s really a great guy.

Your picks are a nicer set than mine. They don’t, however, qualify as paraphernalia currently on my table.

This is the paraphernalia currently “on my table.”

This is my prep station. I usually use the Cali Crusher. I think it provides a fluffier grind than a more traditional grinder. I have several others, but the Crusher works best for me so far. I also take my bud photos on that little cutting board.

You can see the Crusher’s guts are somewhat different than a more traditional pin or diamond type grinder. The theory is one direction grinds, the other fluffs. Where’s my fluffer?! HA!

Above, I say “so far” because I’m considering one of these. Anyone here use one?

You can see it works on a very different principle than traditional grinders. I believe Ryot makes something similar.

Back to the thread’s title, you’ve seen the prep station. I do all prep indoors. All smoking, on the other hand, happens outdoors.

I normally smoke one of two bongs. This Renegade is what’s up at the moment. I set the stopper on top of the bong when I’m not hitting it. We have bird feeders on the veranda and sometimes loose seed lands in the bong (even though it lives under that table).

I love the Scientific Inhalations carbon filter! I’d use a RooR except they’re more difficult to get in the US, and I broke mine. Shitfucksticks.

Here’s an undertable shot. The other bong I use has the brown liquid in it. It’s cheap Chinese glass, but it has lasted for years. The liquid is Grunge Off, my favorite cleaner. It’s not my favorite because it works better than others, because I don’t know that it does, but it’s the only cleaner I’ve found that actually smells like citrus rather than VOCs.

The maple syrup jars are what I keep the Grunge Off in. The original containers don’t pour well, so I use these. You can also see a tallish glass (kind of behind the table leg) and a mug, both with aluminum foil covers. The glass is for downstems, the mug is for bowls. I leave the metal screens in the bowls, since the cleaner works well on brass too.

I don’t use the other, “unprotected” glass bong that you see, the one with the seeds in it. You can also see an inexpensive Chinese dab rig. I don’t really dab anymore, but I might if I make some concentrates. (You know, like if we had eggs we could have bacon and eggs if we had bacon. Movin’ on…) That could be in my future, so I hang on to it. I don’t know why I hang onto that other bong. Perhaps it’s time to get rid of it. I’ve been giving serious consideration to a triple filtered pipe from Scientific Inhalations. Anyone have one? Do you like it?

Your picks are much cooler than mine. The coolest part of mine is that they’re like a Swiss Army knife.

With their cheap blue plastic handles? Yours look far more professional. (I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing.) Is the torque wrench a separate item? Must be.

I think mine were 11 dollars.

And yeah the wrench sort of slides into the body.

I gave them to my father anyway so he can train to become a dangerous criminal in his retirement.

That’s right, the wrench slips into the body.

This and an incredibly poorly written book came along with mine. Both were helpful. You can slip the black plastic cover over the lock to learn to “feel” the pins fall once you’ve see it happen.

I like the translucent padlocks but I find them way too easy to open.

Agreed, but for some, to see it in action first can be edifying. It’s really more toy than anything, but for learning it works if you’re careful. I understand they’re very easy to break.

Yes a very good teaching tool.

What do you use the metal Asian spoon for? Seems like you could kind of “pour” ground flower into the paper.

If so, that’s brilliant

May attempt that, mines not cool enough to be metal, but I do have an Asian soup spoon to try

This little Chinatown letter opener flipper scrapes/tamps my bowl. It’s a gift, so naturally I oblige and appreciate and found a good use for it

Kinda nifty? Lol

I use the folded rolling paper packs to catch my grinder and then tip it into the paper, the Thai spoon gets used for scooping ground weed and kif from jars into a paper or my bowl and packing/scraping. The alcohol swabs are for cleaning it off after I scrape a bowl with the narrow end.

They’re very cheap! I carry one at all times on my person or in a bag:

Want to try these soon:

And I like this a lot for a hobo/billy pot instead of the aluminum grease pot lots of folks use camping over a fire, really nicely designed:
