So I changed my res in my cloner and killed my clones, a few were showing bumps and what not that was a few days ago. Reason being the res water had to low of ph and well that was that… my fault. Also have been having horrible luck with a bag of soil I used, it just plain kills plants. Albeit was 5 bucks ,but still should’ve worked ok. Anyways last time I cheap out on dirt. Lost 3 out 5 of the fam mix due to this soil, two are making it through and going outside in April, one is not shown because we’ll, it’s upsetting enough for me to look at her, I have faith she’ll make a come back though.

On a budget, black gold organic potting soil has worked pretty well for me, it’s easy to find and not too expensive. It isn’t hot enough to burn your plants or kill seedlings, and it usually doesn’t come with fungus gnats. I use it for seed starting and as a component in my organic soil mix.
the black gold with perlite and some worm castings would be enough to get a plant from seed to harvest.

Good deal, they sell that locally. I was unsure about that stuff. I will give it a try. They had pro mix for the longest time real cheap, but I guess only pot growers buy it so they say… ne who I’ll try some black gold organic, thanks for the tip @zephyr . I usually feed as well really small dosages, of nutes… its been working out to feed each time instead of every other week…working a whole ton better. I was happy to have half a bag of happy frog for my mac1 clone…

E.B. stone recipe 420 has also worked pretty well for me, but that’s a bit more expensive and I think it may be a little hot for some strains.
