Got the dog to keep active. I’ve always been a little active and always walk my other dog. But these belgian malanois are something else. She needs two one hour exercise sessions a day or she is sooooo annoying. And that’s min
that why they do Ring Sports and Mondio with the them
they are a live wire
I would love one my wife is more of the German Shepherd Dog type

PS she is a beauty
Her dads pretty impressive.
Fuck yes, he is! I was married to a woman who trained Schutzhund and we had dogs go to the US National Championships multiple years. I’m not sure if that’s the same sport in this clip (Schutzhund is geared towards German Shepherds and there are several similar ones like Ring or KNPV) but I’ve watched hundreds of dogs perform this same routine, and he does a GREAT job! He’s completely involved, not distracted, listens to all commands, and doesn’t shy away from the attacker. I love how he’s still ‘on guard’ when the routine is over.
For people who may not know the context, this is the “protection” phase of a dog trial. The sport I know, Schutzhund, has three parts (obedience, tracking, and protection) and the dog receives a score from the judge in each phase and is competing for best overall total. It mimics police dog work in that it begins with a search for suspect who is hidden. The dog is directed to search all 6 blinds - one of the hardest things to train is to keep the dog from bolting to the last one because the “bad guy” is ALWAYS in the last one. This dog doesn’t even look that direction and just responds to the commands being given.
Once they find the bad guy, they need to “hold and bark” until the handler comes around to collect them. The rest of the routine is a series of walking the suspect, them attempting to escape (Escape bite at 2:02) and attack (3:05ish), then apprehending them. You have to make sure the dog knows that’s it is only OK to bite when under attack or the suspect is fleeing. You’ll notice once they stop struggling following a bite that the dog resumes the “hold and bark”. There are little things the judge looks for, a big one is that the dog knows when he has to let go. One that stands out for me is where the dog targets his bite. Some dogs are intimidated by the stick in the right hand, so they will bite high on the left elbow to keep away from it. You want a dog who will bite square in the forearm and that’s what this one does.
Keep watching past 4 minutes if you think that’s the end. At 4:40 is the culmination of the test. The dog starts at one end of the field and the bad guy at the other and they rush towards each other. It’s fun to see them flying through the air!
So much time and effort goes into training a dog to this level. It’s basically a full time job.
B-E-A-U-TIFUL !! BEAUTIFUL Work @PoppaPuff
Super skunk x triangle kush
Had problems dialing it in. Adjusted feed early flower and she took off. And started putting on weight
How many weeks in are you ?
I wanna say 4 or 5. My record keeping is non existent at this point. Really looks great as compared to early flower. I’m sure I affected her outcome but she likes the heavy feed now
Flowers are looking on point @PoppaPuff… yea, calendar buds suck. I just go by feel myself. comes with time and experience. I have a few Triangle Im curious on. They were $200/pack USD. The just starting to flower outside now so I wont be trying mine till Halloween likely.
