Punks Not Dead

Never was I into Suicidal Tendencies
We are not friends lol

I used to have a hoodie with Millions of Dead Cops on it and the police with the KKK hood on, definitely got a few weird looks.

This is a classic too

These are my go to for CanCore :maple_leaf:

I saw DOA live at the Shoestring in Whistler in 99’ I was pretty heavy on the pints that night and kept getting up on stage and singing with them, they were half loving it half wondering how the fuck does this young Ausy kid know the words haha.

Funny story… these guys warmed up for Bad Religion in 96 in my hometown and I got on stage again but this time to dive into the mosh pit, first jump was a success second attempt the staunch biker bouncers kicked me out the back door dragging me on my back through gravel. Being wasted and having blood all over my back I stupidly waved down a cop car to try to get back in to the venue but all they did was see my weed and pipe stashed in my socks(I was wearing shorts haha) so copped a fine and they tool my shit, after that rookie mistake I kicked in the side door just as Bad Religion started their first song ran past security and into the pit.

Way ahead of their time for 84’, amazing album cover too… I always wanted to frame mine

I have that shirt still! I gotta find it. I’ve got lots of good punk shirts. I used to get so much shit for my propagandhi shirt with a cross hair over the face of a guy with a white power hat on. Didn’t seem so wrong in the mid 90s, but I guess it was.

Corporate slim balls lol

I wish I still had mine cause when I searched for an image of it I found some going for over $200

My Bad Religion shirt with the cross buster logo got some looks but the BR shirt I had with two nuns making out definitely got the most attention

They weren’t always though and Social D still kicks ass. Bad Religion sucks now but they were awesome back in the day.

My ex was huge into Flogging Molly to the point where we had a dog named Molly. Not really my thing but she loved them. She went to her like 10th+ show and she said the entire audience was preppy college kids and the vibe was completely different and she never went to see them again.
