Pictured is a plant I cloned, and it appears to maintain the original apical structure. Is this normal for a rooted top?

The nodes alternate at sexual maturity. These are called apex clones. They do have some hormonal advantages but with the right feed and light those soon disappear versus any other cut IMO. It will begin alternating later.
